Really crazy length of time to fight such a terrible disease - would not wish that on anyone. You can find fairly recent pictures of him and it's hard to believe he was once a pro football player.

Guitar whiz Jason Becker was around 20ish when he was diagnosed, he just turned 57.

Oh look, who didn't know when OJ was born? That's not Simpson either, Frosty. It's Brigance. To answer your question, his birthday was September 29, 1969. Yes, there are so many horrible diseases out there that take years to waste away the mind or body. For Brigance, he would have been alert the entire time. Very sad. May he Rest In Peace. His suffering is finally over.

No idea who this is.

She looks familiar but yeah I’m with you on the no idea who she was thing. But do remember her from Nashville and some movies. She overdosed.

Pretty sure he was referring to 19 years of suffering from ALS not that he was 19 years old.

Speedy thought he had a win over me there. Let’s let him have it. It’s been a while.

Dolly Parton is straight up the best to have ever done it in Country music and one of the best all time, any genre.

In baseball they talk about the "Five Tool Player"... And she had every tool better than anyone ever had it. Songwriter, Musician, Vocalist, Entertainer, Businesswoman... She did it all and better than anyone else. I don't know that we'll ever see anyone with all the gifts ever again.

Country music is an intensely misogynistic genre, so people will say "best female, maybe..." and not want to categorize her with Haggard, Jones, Hank Sr, etc.... but she was so much more, so much better. And she did it all at a time where nobody wanted a woman to do it.

Just an absolutely gutting loss for the entire entertainment industry.

This is some of her recent work that was STILL miles better than her contemporaries...

Coat of Many Colours is the song that hits me the most.

Remembering Dolly Parton. I like to consider myself as "Man's Man" at my advanced age. That i take no **** from anyone. never have & never will. But this video got me good. I was weeping when I saw it. Very touching. Especially considering Dolly's passing. I'm sure she saw this at some point before she died & approved. Rest In Peace, Dplly/

Dolly reached out and spread goodness everywhere. This doesn't even surprise me:
