From Sportsnet:

“I mean, I can't generate offence,” said Wolf, the Flames' franchise player, frustrated by his club’s inability to convert more than one of the 37 shots directed at Jakub Dobes.

“I do my job, I try to keep the puck out of our net, and hope that our guys can generate a couple. I'm glad we got one there. We got a point, but we’ve got to keep working to find more offence.”

He's right but my first reaction was jerkface throwing his teammates under the bus. I rarely if ever hear a player (some coaches do yes) throw his goaltender under the bus in public if the goaltender is struggling.

This looks good on the Flames though, now do the Leafs and Wild next please and thank you.

From the Calgary Herald:

'That means that usual workhorse Dustin Wolf, barring a relief appearance against the Predators, will be idle for upwards of a week. Wolf was hooked last Wednesday in Tampa after surrendering three goals on only four shots, and Cooley has been tapped for three straight starts since then'.

Imagine if one of his teammates said to the media after the Tampa Game, "I mean I can't stop pucks from going into the net, I do my job, I generate opportunities to score and defend my zone'.

Wow big roll of the dice cause Hughes won't commit to the Wild right now...

Only team who can give him 8 years tho. That matters. Quite the haul but not a fan of Rossi. He’s small as hell.

New CBA brings that down to 7years starting in '26, so they better get a move on

Leafs fire their assistant coach Savard. Yup checks out, it's gotta be him in where the Leafs find themselves currently.

If I was their Zamboni driver, I might be a bit anxious on who's next.

Did I mention I'm not a big Leafs fan?

Yikes. Who takes the lions share of blame here? Players, coaches, GM? Or all share equal blame? Are they throwing in the white towel on the season?

So many questions very few answers.

Oh right to buffer our frustration, we are feel fortunate we have a NHL team, bring down any high expectations we have of this team while continuing to hand over our money on swag and such. I forgot. :)

Happy New Year!

Race to the bottom has been achieved ...for 25' part of the season at least....Will we see much improvement in 26'.....not likely as it appears the Jets organization have written the season off...It's going to take more than 'tanking' (no guarantees there) to fix this mess...A lot of fans seriously pi$$ed off and have gone into apathy mode....Good luck to the club trying to renew season tix for next year....Happy New Year

If 1 bad year means fans give up on the team then we don’t deserve a team here.

No one is giving up that I see, maybe the fair weather fans, but I think it’s a reasonable expectation that our team has high expectations every year and using this year as an example, if things aren’t working, what’s happening to correct the situation?
