you mean you never heard of Selena Quintanilla Perez? her career was going up pretty fast but she was murdered just before her first English album was released. Her killer was denied parole earlier this year.

 

There was a film about her life released in 1997  with J.Lo portraying her.

 

Anyway the notice I posted about was her father, who was her manager....and sadly he hired the woman that would later kill his daughter.

the ages of the two victims are the same age as Reiner and his wife.....god I am getting flashbacks to what happened with Gene Hackman earlier this year, I really hope it's not them.

Many true crime and tv shows covered the murder.  It's a fascinating story about a crazed fan who worked her way into being in charge of her fan club.  She was fired after stealing money and took revenge by killing Selena.  I think Dateline has a really good episode covering it.    That being said the dad dying isn't exactly worthy of being on this thread.  

******* brutal.... Reiner is a genius from genius royalty legacy. So unbelievably sad, especially if the Robbery/Homicide part is true.

I'm glad I got to watch Princess Bride and When Harry Met Sally this year (yeah that scene was pretty funny) maybe I'll give A Few Good Men a try (I didn't have plans to watch it because it's kind of long) oh yeah and I forgot I watched Spinal Tap this year too. And I saw The Bucket List during a management class back in 2009
