Why do we even bother? Chevy should just go to his cabin & turn off his phone on July 1st.

It’s prob the best thing to do. Overpaying crappy players certainly isn’t the answer. Like outside of boeser who never really made it to free agency in the end and Ehlers, nobody Is really worth it. Like it’s a lot of meh. You don’t build teams through free agency. Every year average players get overpaid on July 1 and then bought out 2 3 years later.

Ex-Jets news
Dylan Coghlan signs with VGK min. wage
 UTH signs Nate Schmidt 3 x $3.5M and Brandon Tanev 3 x $2.5M

Not going to miss Tanev. Has great energy but with no control or structure to his game. Can’t seem to keep that puck on his stick for an extended period of time.

I honestly think there were others not rostered during the recent playoffs for the Jets that could have made substantially more of a difference than Tans did. I like the guy but he’s not the player he was in 2018. That’s who we needed but didn’t get.

Two years is not bad. They’ve lost too much IMO however.

I guess Ehlers is taking his time or is it what he is asking is not lining up with his production (including injury time) for some teams? I would think we’ll know by today.

Bob McKenzie officially retires.

I wish Bob all the best. All these great sports broadcasters & writers are leaving us (retiring or dying) with really no one coming up behind. It's sad.

We really should... PAY THE MAN!!! We'll never find his goal scoring anywhere now.

He doesn’t want to be here.

He wants to be in North Carolina? Washington?

Tampa I see for taxes.

This seems to be taking longer than you’d expect though. Are teams looking at his injury history, and until recently, lack of playoff scoring and starting to wonder?
