Noeller Posted Saturday at 09:12 PM Report Posted Saturday at 09:12 PM Pumped for Peyton Kettles and the whole Kettles clan down south to watch big P get drafted. I learned some lessons playing behind Peyton's dad, Kyle, back in the day. Kyle was younger than me and I was an incredibly immature kid who didn't understand why I was backing up this "little kid".... A little kid who ended up getting drafted by Nashville in 1999. They're a true hockey family who put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into the game. Peyton is gonna be a good one in the bigs before too long... bigg jay, bb1 and kelownabomberfan 3

Well, I think just off hand that if Atlanta fails then there's Houston, Portland, Or, Kansas City, Oklahoma City & maybe Milwaukee or Cleveland in line before Quebec gets the Nordiques back. Bettman for some reaason just doesn't want Quebec despite their new 18,000 seat hockey arena which ain't so new anymore at 10 years of age. Just goes to show how lucky we were to get the Jets back when we did with a small arena. Bettman didn't stand in the way for us to get the Jets back despite all the negative crap he had to put up with from Winnipeg fans when the team went to Phoenix in 1996.
iHeart Posted Sunday at 10:02 PM Report Posted Sunday at 10:02 PM Well CLC was about 7 when we got the team

Goalie Posted 12 hours ago Report Posted 12 hours ago (edited) Bettman never wanted Winnipeg to leave. They did everything they could from trying yo find local owners to new arena proposals. Jets didn’t leave cuz lack of support. They left cuz honestly they had 2. Winnipeg Enterprises was never gonna be True North. Quebec City is different. The language is a problem and the guy who wanted to be owner was getting lots of negative press, like balsile in Hamilton , he wanted to do it his way and make noise. True North did it so quietly we didn’t hear about a team coming here until the night before it happened. in terms of expansion you got Houston Atlanta Indianapolis (lot closer than ppl think) and Virginia (there’s lots of talk about Virginia Beach, apparently nhl ratings in Virginia are strong Portland? Vancouver and Seattle say no. Like Montreal with Quebec City. Edited 12 hours ago by Goalie

Likely hasn't hit his ceiling yet, but is still a very good player.

They signed pionk Iafallo and fleury and Toews. They haven’t signed Appleton and Ehlers. That’s all they can do right now really. These are all guys signing back with current teams. Minus the Marner to Vegas one. Free agency starts tomorrow. Rumors are brock boeser is a real possibility but he’s technically not a UFA until tomorrow. 6 years at age 37 for Marchand is crazy.
