All things NHL. New Season 3 months away.

For a moment, I thought it was 1977. The Flyers vs the Canadiens. Dave Schultz vs Larry Robinson. The only thing missing was a bench clearing brawl. Robinson destroyed Schultz btw. He really put that bully in his place.

Even though the Armed Forces guy did a great job of Oh Canada, Roger Doucet would have been in his glory.

He was very good. Didn't let the booing faze him at all. There were boos when he sang but he also got cheers & applause when he finished The Star Spangled Banner. Good for him.

It was Soul Bear who did the anthem last night.  Didn't know he was military. 

 

He is excellent.  

Guys like Aho and KC aren’t getting that extra 1/2 second, extra 1/2 foot of space to react to do their thing they are so use to getting in regular season NHL.

as expected Canada vs US in the 4 Nations final.

Binnington does not inspire confidence. They almost leafed themselves today.

He's obviously an elite goaltender but yea not 100% confident he's going to win that 1-0 2-1 game for you when needed.

When you get to this level the slightest nuances in skill make the world of difference between really good and great.

I think it's been a fun tourney.  Way better than the all-star game.   Why Logan Thompson isn't the starting goalie for Canada is beyond me.    Binnington like St. Louis are one hit wonders.

It is actually fun and way more intense than expected. I have even more reason to hate the GM for the Wild/USA. Hope we play the Wild in the playoffs and stomp them. Go Canada Go Jets but not for two of them this Thursday.

It’s been a fun event helped by lack of anything else sports on lol. Not quite Olympic hockey but close. 

Not sure where the right place for this is but Bobby Hull has been given a posthumous diagnosis of Stage 2 CTE

Just heard Chantal Kreviasiuk sing Oh Canada, and after that I never want to hear whining about how bad Stacy Nattress is again.
