Winnipeg Jets fans will be looking to the sky on Sunday ahead of the team’s first game of the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Two Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) CF-18 Hornet fighter jets from 4 Wing Cold Lake, Alberta will conduct a flyby over Canada Life Centre and the Winnipeg Whiteout Street Party on Sunday evening. The flyby will take place just after 6 p.m. CT.

Yep.  It's not a dominant home playoff venue... But... The sweep from Montreal and the general steamroll by Vegas have 1 thing in common.    Schiefele was absent due to suspension/ injury.  We also lost Morrissey and Ehlers (remember Ryan Hartman?) in the Vegas series. 

If the Jets can stay healthy, we are a force to be reckoned with. 

RIght we can't afford to lose Scheif...again

The key for the Jets to win is to get their power play going. They dont get alot of chances on 5on5 as they play conservative dump and chance hockey.

Thankfully they dont give up much chances on 5on5 either. 

By the way, I see a bunch a tix have been released for tonight's game.

Seems to me that if we stay healthy we have a good chance to win more than we expect in these playoffs  ...

Jets are very tentative right now.  Out being out shot 9 - 1.  Haven't won a defensive zone draw yet.
