Odd man rush. D played who they should have, Wheeler trying to back check but he got crossed up at the Oiler blue line by the bad pass by Dubois and isn’t going to catch McDavid from behind. 

Good period for Jets but still down 2-0. Can we just count this as game 1 of the playoffs?

What the **** is wrong with Hellebyuck?  That McDavid shot was nothing special.  I give up on this team.

we can easily  beat MTL, OTT, Vancouver and maybe Calgary but we have to play against EDM for one more day before we get to those easy points

This will be the first game I’ve shut off all year.  I’ve had enough.

Without McDavid and Dreisaitl, Edmonton does not make the playoffs. With them, Stanley Cup contenders. Those two alone are just toying with the Jets. And I don’t know why but Mike Smith really bugs me. And the Oilers are rolling out the Andrea now. Time for bed.

yeah but how far have they gotten since they joined the team? The Leafs still haven't gotten past round one with Matthews. we went farther in the playoffs when we had Laine

Ya at 4-0 I was done with that game. I'm an Oilers and Jets fan but that's just not entertaining in the least. Back into the Marvel rewatch rabbit hole, I go....

last nfl season, bucaneers coach publicly criticised Brady. i saw an interview with brady after.... brady said

" hes the coach, I have to play better"

Imagine if Maurice had left Helle in all game and said “We weren’t playing well, but he wasn’t to blame for the goals and I felt he was playing well. So I did not want to pull him again and make him feel bad” 

Maybe...just maybe we didn't do anything at trade time to improve the D....Other clubs like T.O. did and are going to bury us early...Unless everyone comes to play 99 percent of the time, this team is dead in the water....Lost three in a row now and this last one was a very bad sign of a team that just isn't good enough

Ppl blaming hellebuyck are very uneducated. Listen to Stastny in the post game presser. 

This team has quit... Scheifele has quit.. Wheeler isn't a top 6 guy... He's actually the worst defensive forward in the League.. maybe 2nd worst ( look it up.. I hate plus minus but Wheeler is either worst or second worst. 

This team has either quit.. they don't listen or Maurice doesn't coach them. 

 

What's wrong with Helle? Turns out if you keep giving up 20 high Danger chances a game... You gonna lose more.Jets have been **** for 20 games plus now...listen to Stastny again.... We are .500 in our last 24 games

McDavid is the best player in the world and giving up breakaways and countless 2 on 1s all SEASON long especially vs Edmonton and Toronto aka the good teams... It ain't gonna work. We haven't scored 6 goals in our last 6 games combined have we? Last 4 for sure we haven't. We suck defensively as a team and that's on Maurice Huddy Scheifele end Wheeler who seem to just go out there and wing it on a nightly basis. There is no structure. Zero.
