So, did Scheifele get "demoted" or did Wheeler and Connor? Either way, here's hoping the shake-up leads to improved play at both ends of the ice.

Well Wheeler playing with Stastny so demotion :D

Jets have trailed 3-1 at some point in 5 of their 8 games this year. In 2 of the other 3, they were trailing by a goal after 2 periods. Given the historical difficulty in winning games when trailing after 2 periods, it is kind of remarkable that they are 5-3 overall. But they cannot sustain success with these in-game deficits.
Want to see Heinola back in the lineup, but who should be benched for him? The obvious answer based on talent is Stanley, but based on play, is the real (and very uncomfortable to say out loud) answer Josh Morrissey?

The best game that Morrisey played is the lone game he was paired with Heinola.

KConn strikes first

We now have digital ads on the glass behind the goalies.

FFS 😡

KConn strikes again, do you feel lucky?

We do?  Wow, I didn’t even notice.  I guess I was distracted by the Jets having a pulse tonight.

Gonna be tough to beat Helle for worst goal of the year.

That brutal goal gave the flames life.   And now we are scrambling for life. Hellebyuck is the only reason we are still tied.

Ffs.  And now we're down 3-2.

You could see this coming up Hwy #1

Is it DeMelo? Is it Morrissey? Is it DeMelo playing with Morrissey?

Well Schiefele ties the game up.  Sheesh.  They looked dead on their feet.

Ugh.  Sick move by Gaudreau.   Why do you put Perreault on the shootout?

Yeah, I can’t understand using Perreault.  Don’t like that choice at all.

Wheeler and Perrault yeah hey Maurice why not Lowry???🙄🙄

Who are we to question the man with the most coaching losses in NHL history, who has missed the playoffs in more seasons than he has made them?

Murat Ates

@WPGMurat

Paul Maurice on Nik Ehlers' slot in the shootout.

"We didn't have anybody left on our bench that had scored a National Hockey League goal in the shootout. So he would have been one of them

Does he not realize how stupid that sounds?  And that he is responsible for the young players developing and gaining experience?
