Gotta say I like the COVID mask team intro. It’s the small details that made the thread better.

If they Jets look as bad as they did in the past couple of games, I think we need to replace our GM. Not going to happen, in-year, I know, but I don't want Chevy making deals just to push things along. Time to clear out management and coaches, and let them make some hard decisions on blowing up this team. 

Watch Maurice will take out Forbort or Morrissey or Stanley.

Niku looks absolutely lost in the NHL. Heinola should be a welcome change, IMO.

Trade him now before anyone else figures this out. I'm surprised given how quickly he adapted to the AHL. I know it's a different level but the fundamentals are the same.

My only guess is that it's the Back Up QB thing...... Guy we don't know is better than guy we know...

Niku is 24 years old, has played 50 games in the NHL, and looks to have regressed. 

Heinola is 19 years old, and while he's only played 8 games, he looks to have some upside. He also had a strong performance in the WJHC, for whatever that's worth. I guess it's being excited about his potential.

Not sure it's Heinola love as much as it's a desire to get Niku out of the lineup. Heinola looked much better last year, as an 18 year old, than Niku did this season. Small sample size for sure, but imo he deserves playing time more than Niku does.

I’ve been one to pimp Niku for more ice time, but yeah, he’s looked poor so far.  He didn’t even flash anything offensively, which is where he really needs to shine.  He doesn’t deserve to play, given Heinola and Samberg waiting in the wings.

Lowry makes it 3-0.

Great grit from Lewis on the 3rd goal. Absorbs the hit, cross bar, and boards to create an open net for Lowry. Jets skating now and full court press on the young Sens. And Forbert looking composed and solid out there. Glad we didn’t ALL quit on him after 20 minutes of play.

Ehlers is absolutely flying out there.  That line with Stastny and Copp is looking great.  Glad Maurice put Perreault on the 4th line.

And Wheeler makes it 4-0 on a sick passing play. The talent has shown up tonight. 

Would like to see Stastny get off the schnide next. 

So my wife asked me “Are all the Tkachuk’s **** disturbers or what?” Brady itching to start a fight he’ll get a teammate to finish. 

When this team decides they want to work hard they are very very good.
