Tucker Carlson??  Tucker ******* Carlson?!!!! That guy might be the biggest asshat that has ever lived.  Nothing he spouts can be considered ‘information’.

Its frustrating that the Jets seem to only be able to shop at the 39 cent store during free agency.

We've only had one GM & it looks like Chevy will be atround until at least the 2041 season calling the shots. Some of us will go to our graves never knowing if the team could have signed ANYONE of note as a free agent. Other than 4th line scrub dmen, forwards & goalies.

The Athletic asked this on an anonymous player poll. It was "who is the first team on your no trade list" so not all-encompassing but it gives you an idea of cities that may have at least one quality to them that would make at least one or two players have them first on the list.

Winnipeg - 48.78%

Buffalo - 19.51%

San Jose - 8.54%

Calgary 3.66%

Ottawa - 3.66%

Anaheim - 2.44%

NY Rangers - 2.44%

Chicago, Montreal, NY Islanders, Philly, St Louis, Toronto, Utah, Vancouver, Vegas also all received 1.22% of the vote

I’m fine if we move on from Chevy, but don’t expect any other GM to be able to sign high profile free agents. For players who have a choice where they go, Winnipeg is very low on their list, which means it would likely take a massive over pay for most players to get them to pick Winnipeg over a competing offer

Get rid of the no move clause to help level the playing field.

Help me understand how getting rid of the no move clause hurts the league?

I’m not again not getting rid of it But to answer your question on how it hurts the league, now that the players have it, it’s probably going to take a lock out plus whatever other concession you have to give them in return for taking it out

I just want to see what happens if a new GM is in place. How do we know he doesn't change the culture of the club? Or make things more conducive to signing free agents. I just want to see what someone else can do.

Fantastic. We will invite you to the bargaining table. Problem solved.

You’ so funny, you here all week? You’re right we should just replace one great perk that creates great disparity in the league with another great perk so the pendulum continues to ensure pro athletes are pampered up the ying yang. Tracks.

You’ve never had a perk taken away/modified at your work without it being replaced by something else?

I have.

Its more difficult with unions. If this is something the players care deeply about, which I suspect it is, players have wives and families and want a say where they live, this isn't something they are just going to give up on a whim.
