BomberBall. Posted January 8 Report Posted January 8 I’d bring Gus up and sit Namestnikov. He has been brutal. When was the last time he got a damn point? Isn’t he still at 8? And playing on the 2nd line for most of the season?? How is that acceptable? I know Gus isn’t an offensive force, but he’s leading the Moose in points ( not overly impressive, I know), he’s defensively sound and has usually been solid in face offs. I’d also be fine with Yager or Chibrikov being called up…. Zhilkin just seems like a lateral move at best.

He is correct about that based upon how he’s mismanaged player evaluation/value for quite some time now, he should put his head down 😠.

I think he’s on the roster next year full time. Either playing with Josh or 3rd pair as both miller and Schenn are free agents. I think he has stood out at the moose games I’ve been 2. Him Yager and Fagemo (he’s slow tho and awful defensively but laine like release) have all looked good at forward. I’d call up Gus cuz he’s better than Nyquist Pearson and prob a few others. Solid defensively and great at face offs. Great at the pk also. Edited January 14 by Goalie BomberBall. 1

I dunno @iHeartill give you props for being a good fan but sometimes you are a little off. It’s all good tho. I appreciate the fandom. Maybe they ask Nyquist to play and he finally scores a goal. ask Ilya kovakchuk tho. That would be cool.
