BomberBall. Posted January 8 Report Posted January 8 I’d bring Gus up and sit Namestnikov. He has been brutal. When was the last time he got a damn point? Isn’t he still at 8? And playing on the 2nd line for most of the season?? How is that acceptable? I know Gus isn’t an offensive force, but he’s leading the Moose in points ( not overly impressive, I know), he’s defensively sound and has usually been solid in face offs. I’d also be fine with Yager or Chibrikov being called up…. Zhilkin just seems like a lateral move at best.
HardCoreBlue Posted January 8 Report Posted January 8 Chevy: “When I woke up this morning, for me, the choice is put your head down and find a way to keep pushing this team to get better". Being a bit ornery with our team's current predicament and based on what KC has done to date to course correct this predicament that he calls it, other than his pep talks and calls for accountability, what else has he come up with by putting his head down?

He is correct about that based upon how he’s mismanaged player evaluation/value for quite some time now, he should put his head down 😠.

Shouldn't that be 'hang my head in shame' after the club has gone from first to worst....Not an easy feat....Might as well keep tanking and at least salvage something out of this dumpster fire of a season Goalie 1

HardCoreBlue Posted Monday at 05:01 PM Report Posted Monday at 05:01 PM The NHL has enough talent to make two Canadian Olympic teams. It would be neat to have them play agianst each other.

BomberBall. Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago I’m glad Salomonsson is getting another opportunity, but it’s obviously not great that it’s because our D depth is thin.

I think he’s on the roster next year full time. Either playing with Josh or 3rd pair as both miller and Schenn are free agents. The Phillips recall is interesting as the couple moose games I’ve been 2 this season he hasn’t stood out at all. On 2026-01-08 at 9:53 AM, BomberBall. said: I’d bring Gus up and sit Namestnikov. Don’t hate the 4th line. Edited 1 hour ago by Goalie

Could also be he’s not as awful as he looks on the moose. Perhaps moose coaching ain’t up to snuff. Guys look 10x better when they called up. Not sure if that’s motivation to stay up or poor coaching on the moose HardCoreBlue 1

Zhilkin has looked decent. Hasn’t been good in the face offs from what I’ve noticed. 39 minutes ago, Goalie said: Possibly. Could also be he’s not as awful as he looks on the moose.
