Tucker Carlson??  Tucker ******* Carlson?!!!! That guy might be the biggest asshat that has ever lived.  Nothing he spouts can be considered ‘information’.

In most organizations a fall like this, if it continues, would generate a firing (whether it’s the coach or the GM). It won’t happen here as for some reason too many fans and the ownership swallow the propaganda spewed by the team management. 😕

Most teams would waive Nyquist and Pearson and prob Schenn to the minors. Toews possibly also.

I think I’d tank this season. It’s a good draft. We need young talent. Yager has potential. Chibrikov also. Salo I like lots. Dom the goalie looks good. But outside of that not much currently on the moose. Couple interesting prospects in the ohl and ncaa. Top 4 D for sure in Sasha and possibly top 6 center in Walton. Top 9 let’s say. He looks good also but He won’t be ready for a few seasons. We lack tho a top 3 forward prospect tho currently. Yager definitely top 6 potential but he’s not that big either so. You need a top 5 pick. Ideally win the draft and get a franchise player.

We tank & we're a good one foot & a quarter more through the door that leaves Winnipeg. We can't survive with crowds of 12 & 13000 just like the old Jets couldn't. Chipman can sell this team for over a billion dollars to some American outfit to move it to an American city with 4 times the population. Just watch what happens if we tank.

He won’t tho since the other owner of the jets is the richest owner in the nhl. Chipman and Thompson are committed to Winnipeg and the downtown hence all the upcoming developments around the area. I mean really.

When the fans turn away from the team there's always a danger that the owners may say they can get a better deal elsewhere.

The Jets are absolutely not going anywhere... That's patently absurd. A tank and rebuild could absolutely be lived through no problem.

Yeah, okay. Whatever you say. You sound like Neville Chamberlain coming home to London after his meeting with Hitler's Nazis in 1939 holding up that useless piece ot toilet paper that was supposed to be a treaty & gleefully proclaiming, "There will be peace in our time." You have no clue either.

I can see the Jets moving in 10 years or so.  As the Jets 1.0 fans die off and less interest from the younger people it could cause them to move away (again).

I love when the word tank is used. Do they have meetings and decide this? If Chevy calls up the whole AHL team and plays them, yes they are tanking but other than that happening what do they do, players play half assed and coaches purposely make bad decisions? Has any NHL team ever admitted to tanking a season?

They won’t rebuild. Not with 55 81 37 all signed long term. They will retool and if that means tanking this season I think that’s ok. McKenna is a franchise player.

SJ pretty much. Sharks. Buffalo also tried tanking for McDavid as rumors were he wanted to go to  there or preferred it but Edmonton won the draft.

Still doesn't answer my questions with any solid facts. As a competitive guy myself, I would be embrassed if a team actually planned a tank on purpose.

Buffalo tanked. Chicago tanked. Sharks tanked the last few years. Those are teams who pretty much admitted it. Nobody is gonna say tank tho.

So behind closed doors, conversations were had to tank the season? I personally would find that professionally embrasssing obviously know the fruits they bare if successful at achieving the outcome of doing so.

No quick fix this year....But there seems to be an internal problem that should be addressed ...No club goes from first to worst in one year for no reason...Root out the problem and start fixing it...I don't like the idea of 'tanking' so no 'tanks' when there's still other avenues to pursue....

Yes. SJ and Chicago 100 percent and buffalo in the McDavid draft 100 percent tanked but it was easy for them as they didn’t have a 40 goal scoring winger. A ppg center and a legit mvp goaltender. Players won’t “tank” but management and coaches can do things to help the team lose tho. If I didn’t know any better I’d think Arniel and Chevy are kind of tanking this season as they are not playing the 12 best forwards or 6 best d every game. Also Arniel constantly says he likes Toews game. I mean either Toews needs coddling or Arniel is delusional

Basically what you're saying is that Arniel will tank the team just to get fired by Chevy & kill his NHL career.  Meanwhile, Chevy wears a suit where nothing sticks to him as he's Chipman's Boy.

Tanking or no tanking ....how long before the stands start thinning out after watching this bull$hit performance...The effort isn't even there from most players...I thought this organization had gained a lot of self esteem after last year.....seems that's not the case and we've been reduced to the ranking of bottom feeder...Hard to watch

Just a random thought. If Chevy was relieved of his duties and a new GM was brought in and let’s assume he builds around our core of Helle, Shief, Connor and Morrissey, what changes in approach would we see from Chevy’s for the last several years? Maybe more aggressive on the trade market, Fa market cuz i don’t think he would stand pat obviously.

On Free Agent Frenzy there were just a couple players left...
 - Ehlers(left us)
 - Roslovic(left us before Ehlers)
 - Nyquist(someone wants me?)

Players didnt want to come here after winning the Presidents Cup. Imagine bottom of the league and already a cap team and trying to get UFA's 😬

What they're really doing is demonstrating how out of touch with reality they are. I could see a day where the world will no longer be able to afford pro - sports.

Yup it will be a half a dozen one percenters sitting in their boxes with a few of their other one percenter ‘friends’ sitting in their luxury boxes in an empty arena while us minions sit at home yelling at the tv that we can hardly afford.

Thanks for coming to my motivational speech.

True North has a ton of real estate investment with True North Square and their project to renovate Portage Place. They also own the Alt Hotel too (I believe). The Jets are just part of the portfolio and they are likely better positioned than the Jets 1.0 ever were.

Helle and Chicken are going to Milan

May be an image of basketball and text that says 'A TEAMUSA E M USA CONNOR HELLEBUYCK & KYLE CONNOR OLYMPIC BOUND ๊ UA HOCKEY I6 И 20RA RLANOCORTI ORTIN INK'

I wonder if Kyle will get to play - by the end of the 4 Nations Cup he was benched.
