Tucker Carlson??  Tucker ******* Carlson?!!!! That guy might be the biggest asshat that has ever lived.  Nothing he spouts can be considered ‘information’.

Is he good enough to play on the PGA Tour after he retires from the NHL?

Doubtful but who knows really. I’m sure if he 100 percent committed he might have a chance.

People who retire from another pro sport don't go and make the PGA Tour. That has to be your one and only sport from college on, just the same as anything else. Pro golf isn't some hobby or pastime... It's a legit pro sport same as hockey, baseball or football... Same level of dedication required.

Who says it's not legit? Maybe he wants to give it a shot when he does retire from hockey. He'll have the financial whrewithall to do it. He wouldn't be the first & certainly won't be the last.

AI says.

Yes, while not typically competing on the professional PGA Tour, many hockey players are avid golfers and some have even participated in professional events through exemptions or charity tournaments. For instance, Winnipeg Jets defenseman Dylan Samberg competed as an amateur in a PGA TOUR Americasevent in 2024, and Matt Boldy of the Minnesota Wild received a sponsor exemption for a PGA Tour Canada event. Additionally, hockey players often participate in charity events alongside professional golfers, and some, like Maverick McNealy, have successfully transitioned from hockey to the PGA Tour.

Hockey Players and Professional Golf:

Dylan Samberg:

A defenseman for the Winnipeg Jets, Samberg has competed in PGA TOUR Americas events as an amateur, demonstrating the skill level that allows some hockey players to test their abilities in professional golf.

Matt Boldy:

After a strong season with the Minnesota Wild, Boldy received a sponsor's exemption to play in a PGA Tour Canada tournament, showcasing his talent and passion for the sport beyond hockey.

Grant Fuhr:

The former NHL goaltender has played in Pro-Am tournaments with golf stars and even competed in a few Web.com Tour events.

Maverick McNealy:

McNealy, who played hockey when he was younger, now plays on the PGA Tour.

Jerry Kelly:

Before playing on the PGA Tour and the PGA Tour Champions, Kelly was a hockey player who attended the University of Hartford on a hockey scholarship

Sorry, late to the party here but a Jet plays in the Tourny every year.

(Comrie played on the weekend as Thurs and Fri were rained out)

Crazy. All the players said Comrie was damn near pro but turns out he sucks.  lol. These guys really do like him I guess.

I play golf and regularly shoot in the 80s if I play 18. High 80s but still.

I shoot high 80's as well. Usually do a bit better on the back nine....

90 at Larters today.... Windy and cold as hell!

May be an image of text that says 'Ken Wiebe @WiebesWorld 23m S... … #NHLJets captain Adam Lowry says his recovery is progressing nicely and that his target to return to game action is late October or early November.'

If MOS was coaching the Jets, he'd be starting the season.

Ba doom phish.

That’s a good score at Larters. Tough course there.

Still bombers time but honestly, can’t wait for the Jets. Hopefully their extremely veteran heavy roster doesn’t see the same fate as the bombers are currently experiencing. Feel there’s a real chance we struggle this year. Not cuz we lost Ehlers but cuz we got pretty old.

JT's last two years playing in this league.

2021-22    Chicago Blackhawks    NHL    71    12    25    37    39    -14    --    --    --    --    --
2022-23    Chicago Blackhawks    NHL    53    15    16    31    43    -31    --    --    --    --    --

Here's hoping he feels rejuvenated and is ready to roll. Wear that Jersey proud Mr. Winnipegger. Go Jets Go.

Sunday is the start of pre season I believe for the Jets.

Could take up to a year before fully healed. He may not be back before Xmas.

6 to 8 for sure. Probably closer to 6.

I wonder who they decide to keep up now. Salo is rhd but has looked pretty strong. He’s waiver exempt tho. Ville and Stan are LHD.  So is fleury who played with pionk a bit last year in the playoffs. Then you got Schenn and miller.

Demelo Josh. Pionk Fleury. Schenn Stanley. Miller Ville. Samberg to IR. Salo directly to moose. But Salo prob deserves a few games if he keeps it up. Might be a nice compliment to Josh honestly sooner rather than later.  Still think they might waive heinola tho. Not sure he gets picked up.
