It helped their offence out a lot. What hurt BC was how much they paid for Reilly and even more so was the fact they let 10 out of 12 of their D starters go and replaced them with pylons because they couldn't afford Reilly's contract, and their FA shopping spree, and keep their roster intact. Had Reilly taken baby steps the Lions would have been much better.

Spending that much on a QB, then not providing him with competent pass pro, was total incompetence......

BC has spent plenty of $$$ on OL.  They just keeping choosing the wrong guys and struggle to develop their young guys.

Like anchoring their line with a $$$ run blocker (Chung)

That one OL who was starting at tackle for BC at the start of the year - that was beyond incompetence.
