Oilers place defenceman Adam Larsson placed on the Long Term Injured Reserve

 

The Oilers announced that Larsson suffered a broken bone in his foot during the team's home opener victory on Wednesday. The team also assigned defenceman Ethan Bear to the Condors and recalled defenceman Evan Bouchard.

CJ a center. Id think Luotto or Chibsov is called up.

It's only tolerable because it's MAP's - a minimum wager. Now if it was someone making 6m a year.

Sucks more that Maurice played Borque instead of him also.

Moose were on the road and played two games. No point calling him up for the Heritage Classic.

#NHLJets coach Paul Maurice said Patrik Laine isn't dealing with anything serious but is nicked up. They'll have to see how he feels Tuesday before saying for sure that he can play against Ducks. #NHLJets

No way do the Jets burn a year will Heinola, not with the way the team has been constructed for the season, same with Gustafsson, they have guys in the minors they can call up when he has played his 9 games, both have shown some promise but both have much to learn.

PaMa said Laine's injury not caused by the new guy but was pre-exisiting.
