A 2nd rounder more than Buffalo? Cause for a 2nd rounder, heck for a 1st rounder, I'm holding onto Trouba for next year. 

Trouba is probably the 2nd biggest FA defenseman that will be on the market... he gets you back way more then only a 2nd rounder.     Detroit would have to offer a 1st rounder plus 2 prospects at least.

You might get a first for him at the trade deadline next year depending on his season but it's likely to come from a team that is in the playoffs so the 1st rounder won't be low.

Ranked 2nd(or 3rd) in the draft is an LHD. Hmmmm.

That's my point though, I wouldn't trade him for a first rounder, unless it's now and it's a top 5 pick. That ain't happening.

Outside of NJ/ CHI i think the other teams would. Outside of Hughes its a weak year isn't it?

The Finn is way better but NJ needs a center i think.. 

As for Trouba? 7 or 8 teams showing interest.. Why would Trouba be a poison to a NYR or NYI or NJ or Philly or Anaheim? Those are 5 teams linked to a Trouba deal. 

As a rental at the trade deadline.. Trouba gets a 1st plus Prospect... He gets more now easily. Just cuz he might be a **** doesn't mean ****.. Lots of nhl players are and did worse than what Jacob has done and what has he done even?  He hasn't **** talked the Jets or city. Hes just our best RHD.. He gets a nice return.

Rangers only have one 20G RW and that's Pavel Buchnevich.

Waiting to be impressed but since Trouba a UFA next year I guess this is the best we can get.
