I think the leaked pic was a womans jersey. It's grown on me. Wont buy it. Might buy toque or shirt tho

 

They had a great 3rd jersey from the Heritage Game. Fans loved them. So, of course they'll never wear them again.

They are wearing them twice this year

Even if this one had something on the shoulder or just a bit more flair...  like something on the shoulder and the Jets player from the original logo 

Someone did a photoshop of wheeler on there. Looks much better. 

Winnipeg hates change.  Should have used the Bombers third jersey for the Jets, IMO.

 

Don't get the logo part. Why not use the shoulder crest which is pretty cool on it's own except on the navy blue background which makes it lose its definition.

I actually love it.  And I liked it immediately.  I know all the twitter people who think they're sports experts are tripping over each other to bury it but its a simple and sharp design.  Its a third jersey, not a new primary jersey.

The Heritage Classic is awesome.  Using it for the third jersey, however, doesn't afford the Jets an extra design for marketing.   You can see its inspired by the original WHA logo (they had the word mark with the swoosh underneath in a round coke like circle and a simple wordmark logo that had a Jet-like swoosh as the cross over the T).

I find it really clean and sharp and I like the blue.

Curious if you love it enough to buy one?

I’d say I’m indifferent on this jersey.  Don’t hate it, but at the same time, I don’t find it compelling enough that it will be something I’d go out and buy.  

And if the majority of people feel that way, then it would have to be considered a failure as this is the primary reason teams do these jerseys   

Will be interesting to see how many of these we end up seeing around the city and at games

People will buy them.  I think I might, yes.

I have the Heritage jersey, a Hawerchuk away jersey & a Winnipeg Jets 2.0 jersey. Will I buy this one? I have to see it in game action with names & numbers to get an idea if I would. It looks bland & boring to me.

I'll buy one once they go on massive clearance sale price ..

Sometimes numbers & a nameplate can really spice up a jersey. These jersey need some spicing up for sure. So, we'll see what they eventually look like. 

kind of makes me wish that the Heritage Jersey's were the third jersey's.

though to be honest that We Are True North on the back collar is a nice tough

How great would the Jets look if they came up with a dark Heritage home version of those jerseys to go along with the white roadies they wore at the HG at IGF? (Even though in the 70's the white jerseys were home).

If it was an ode to the original logo or even Winnipeg in the swipe underneath, I'd probably be fine with it...

Or maple leafs/Jets on the shoulders or something...

This smacks of the Jays logo when they tried to erase Canada for marketability... not saying TrueNorth is doing that, but it just feels so 'bleh'...

I can't say I'm a fan. At all. The only thing I sorta like is the crest with the jet in it.
