So anyone go anywhere good lately, with iHop opening on monday (surely this one will be better than the one in grand forks service wise) I'm kind of wondering if anyone has been anywhere decent recently

 

a month ago I went with my friends to canadian brewhouse.....man that was a good burger but a word to the wise, do not get an appetizer if you also plan on getting the John Candy Burger it's the second most expensive thing there...but man those garlic fingers were excellent, but there were more than I thought so I asked "anyone want to share my fingers?" which they gladly did

 

I can assure you that the John Candy Burger is nothing like whatever John Candy like item that Rumors Comedy Club has....it was just two patties compared to the Rita Challenge

 

I'm not sure if anyone has made a restaurant thread yet so I'm just leaving this here

New owners of Tuxedo Village Family Restaurant have really screwed it up:

Sorry I missed this earlier. I bought a Weber Performer Deluxe charcoal grill from Luxe about a month ago. Have been using it 3 to 4 times a week. Best burgers and steaks I’ve ever made. Not to mention the crispy wings. The performer has a propane ignition for the coals. Gets you cooking real fast. 
 

I say do it. If you don’t want to spend that much I’d at least get a Master Touch model has some nice accessories included and comes in blue...

Had our first dinner out since March 13th last night. Had to be Jonesy’s in Birdshill. Was a great dinner and very good experience.

I posted a few before that I think sold some folks on going to the place.   It's a good place we've never had bad food in many visits.

I’ll try that from my laptop in the morning. Couldn’t get that option on my iPhone.

I have a under 5 minute commute to work. If I want to add a couple minutes to it, I have a choice of 3 Starbucks I could visit. All without getting out of my truck.

I'm not  sure this isn't just the inevitable rationalizing of stores. Maybe sped up a bit by Covid, but coming anyway.

That was my first thought too, that it was staged or someone trying to make the movement look bad.. What's with the hammer and sickle?

Well, there are coffee beans that are collected after monkeys poop them out. That otta be pricey enough. Go for it.

You guys and Jonesys are going to be the death of me!

So had had to make a trip out that way for work today. Thought I'd stop in and grab something to go. Had a burger, and it was one of the best I've ever had. I'm into burger that pays attention to the patty used, not just piling on a variety of toppings and calling it a day. I think I might have to make another excuse for the almost 40 km trip one way.
