How many teams do this?  Every other call up on non-playoff teams seems to jump right into the action, no?

This is Connor's second go-round - he's all to familiar with the pressbox.

Realistically you're probably right, Roslovic will play in Columbus.  Maybe Connor too.  I just have no faith in Maurice giving the kids significant playing time especially now that we're in golf mode in a week's time.

Not really.  Some do, some don't.

Maurice basically said its a payoff for good seasons with the Moose, so yes I guess calling them up is essentially giving them a nice fat paycheque before summer.  Plus, they get to see how the NHL side of things operate.  Hopefully they get into a game.

Maurice concerns me. These games mean nothing. It's time to sit Thor and Tanev and another guy and play Dano Connor and Roslovic.  NHL experience for these guys is more important than winning at this point.  Fact Maurice won't do that is a huge red flag 

Lawless has an interesting change of opinion on thorburn dressing. He was originally against it. And then the next day came out and said well he has done his part for the team and probably won't be back and this is letting him play out the season as a thank you or whatever.

But I mean...business is business. This like roman vs Undertaker going on last. Haha

Yeah, its better to give Thorburn a nice shout out instead of seeing if the two players we traded our captain to get are worth anything...

Lets call up Peluso, he seems like a pretty decent guy.

How much can you really learn about a prospect in 3 meaningless games at the end of the season?

... about as much as we've learned about Thorbs in all of the now meaningless games he played this season.

Ask Maurice...  these guys should have been called up as soon as the Jets were eliminated.

1st Period

That 1st Blues goal had 3 Jets around the guy. D fail at it's best.

2nd Period

3 goals in a couple of minutes and it's 3-1 Jets all of a sudden.

got the first one after a blast from Stu.

Then Ehlers on the wraparound under a minute later.

Stu is back with shot that drops in from the sky behind the STL goalie.

STL stops the bleeding shortly after that. Floodgates opened up there.

oh sure now the refs are on our side now that we are out of the playoffs
