I'll gladly eat some crow when the jets as a team plays like **** and we win but so far... 2 games 11 goals for. 

to me it feel like they've been playing like **** wait is it S word or F word you were referring to

S word. And these last 2 games they have played way better. 

Laine needs to have a full contact practice and pass tests after that. Maybe Monday but more likely next game. 

Team felt lifted but probably it's a combo of the players meeting, Pavs coming back and a sense of avoiding rock bottom. Still issues obviously. Need consistent effort. 

Id start Pavs next game just because they won two, why mess with it. 

Lawless says no matter how good Pavs is, jets will not offer him a deal. And the 18 year old goalie in the system could be the best of them all. Interesting. 

If Pavs doesn't play lights out in the 2nd, we go into the 3rd down a couple at least.

When is Armia going to start scoring?

Why the eff won't Maurice play Armia higher up the lineup?

Who gets called up to replace Staf? Anyone?

Great game, bring on the Ducks and give Helle the start.

Pavelec will start against the Ducks, MLA lines needs to stay intact they may not score every game but they are tough to play against. Bring up whoever is playing the best with the Moose, maybe Roslovic.

Lawless doesn't watch or scout at that level so good chance it is either someone in the Jets organization who is feeding him or someone like Craig Button at TSN

Berdin was a steal 

I'm not saying anything about Berdin but that is a pretty bold statement. He has played under a season in NA, no? Phillips is 19-10-0. I like Comrie but goalies are more fickle than women and/or snow geese...

He has a 9-6-1 this year with a .922.

Chevy finds the odd jewel in those later rounds.

Looks like Laine could be good for next game

Yes. I had.  He was being compared to Ilya Samsonov taken by Washington a few years back.  

9 6 1 with 922 is pretty good considering the team he plays for isn't 

I remember hearing he was good when he was drafted but forgot about him until Lawless' comment today. Obviously no one can say for sure of an 18 year old playing junior. But another good prospect goalie for the Jets. 

Good teams don't need the best goalie in the league. Just league average or better. We will be okay. Helle will still be the guy. 

I think Chevy should go out and get a decent goalie for the next 3 or so years.

Pav will be traded or let go for free in the off season.  He's not going to be signed

Jets are 6 0 vs the central at home and 10 4 1 overall.  That's important to remember. 

Saw a stat on twitter... average goal support for the Jets goalies 

Pavelec = 5.5 

Helle = 2.85 

HuTch = 1.98 

That's the average amount of goals the jets have scored with each guy in net

That's crazy but it should come way down next game.

Or maybe not. This season is fudged in the head.

I don't think scoring 5 a game is sustainable in the long term.
