It's a good thing you are the secret gm of the Jets?

Chevy said they wanted him to round out his game and that him playing 15 minutes in the A is more productive then playing fourth line minutes.

Helle a little leaky tonight

3rd goal was VERY weak...

Sure. But it should be 2 2 right now cuz the first goal should have been a penalty on Philly for tripping

Nuts 4-2. Helle beaten on his bad eye side.

Philly played like us and beat us.

On to the next game... you can't win them all.

No big surprise losing to Philly, Jets just has trouble with them, Helle not exactly helping out tonight 

Some teams just have your number. Philly wins their 6th straight game vs the Jets. 

Brutal non call changed the game for sure. The 1 0 goal. Jets appeared a bit rattled by the non call and then... Jets had some momentum in the 3rd but a slightly questionable to say the least interference call on thorburn killed that.

Yup.  Not only that, Copp said the exact same thing.  He said he was sent down and told to work on offense.  Maybe its a conspiracy to keep the truth from us.  lol

Mason was ridiculous.  Jets should have won 6-4.

Yeah, he's been terrible this year... terrible until he sees the Jets.

Early this year, we were making stars out of average goaltenders. Did so again last night. It happens.

As long as we're playing better than other teams, I have no concerns for this club.

I watched the beginning of the 3rd period... he stoned Ehlers at least twice with goals that most of the times would of went in.  

 

Mason was great and that was the difference. At least 2/4 Flyers goals weren't Helle fault. Brutal non call on the 1st and the D look like assholes tossing it up on the one breakaway. Amd Simmonds goal was a total fluke bouncing off like 3 people. 

Jets played well... Got zero breaks.

Stoned Ehlers 3 times in total by my count.

Somebody must have told Ehlers to shoot more before that game or is it just me? He seemed to take a LOT of shots.

Ehlers has been on fire.  He *should* score 5 one of these nights.  He's been driving the play a lot, lots of scoring chances. 

I'm amazed that nobody complained that Thorburn took a bad penalty late in the game!?

You realize Vegas can scout the AHL also right and have?  

He was sent down to work on his O game and it worked. 

AHL is not some minor league ECHL... it's a developmental league. Being sent down doesn't mean that you arent good enough for the NHL... it means they want you to develop parts of your game.

Wasn't a penalty. But I will question 1 thing there. We were down 4 2 with 4 minutes 30 seconds left. Why was thorburn on the ice?

Well there's a difference between being on the PP for 5 seconds and being on the ice trailing by 2 with under 5 to go.
