now that they have to count their 50 man PR salaries to the cap since they got busted last year, it helps to find savings in your starting QB

True North is a for profit enterprise as are the goldeyes so neither should get any subsidies, especially this far after their venues were built. Bombers are a community owned non-profit so the justification for subsidies has more weight to it.

Mo is 30 and will be 31 when his current contract is up. Im curious to see how his play trends with getting older. Guy is such a stud for the bombers and i hope he has 2 all-star years left, but i also think he might be one of the guys who ages well and is still an impact player in 3-4 years.

True North has been receiving tax breaks in the range of $6.5 to 7$ million since the MTS Centre was built. That equals approximately 65 to 70 million now in tax revenue that is now taken out of City operating and capital funds. I love pro sports and am glad to have them but the continued corporate subsidies of True North is disgusting. Tack on more millions for True North Square, which will help contribute to a growing Class A office space surplus issue in the downtown (not even mentioning the backdoor subsidies given with nice fat crown corp leases like the new MLCC store). Considering how bad financially Wpg and Manitoba are in at the moment, this is even more infuriating.
Rant over.

Only challenge allowed is PI on a receiver that the pass is being directed to. If a challenge is lost you lose a timeout and all other challenges for the game, even if you still have a timeout left.

its win lose for me regardless of who wins. Bo is a ****** but mylan hicks mom is the true GOAT and a win would be nice for her. On the other side, hank is also a ****** but i also lived in ottawa for 5 years so have some subtle homerism in me.

Bo struggling right now, could be an upset today

Tin foil hat time:
Trade is the result of Adams not taking kindly to Frederick replacing him as a starter. Maybe thats why he refused after practice interview the other day/maybe said something to other players/coaches and Osh got walters to trade him to maintain locker room culture.
Tin foil hat is off:
We are loaded at DB, might lose adams to FA because he will require a high salary and we have good cheap young guns and the neg list player is a standout qb/wr that just got cut from a practice roster in the NFL

did not see that coming.

meh, Jennings is 24 years old, im jealous the Lions are set at QB for the next 10-15 years

Lapo needs to take the kid gloves off nichols and stray away from the safe dip and dunk offense. We can play safe O against other teams because our defense normally outplays the opposing team's O, and our safe offence scores enough off turnovers and in general to win games. Our secondary didnt look as good against the argo's and mitchell will eat them up if given a lot of series to work with. Need to march the ball on O to keep it out of mitchell's hands, and that will take some better play calling and stretching the field better. A health harris would be huge as well.

I got all tingly just seeing both of them on the starting depth chart for the first time this year...
He was awesome last week when Wild went down... I don't expect a huge drop off at that position this week...
I hope Burnett has a great game. Im a total believer after that interview, dude has got the perfect mentality, hoping his play can match.

Fogg and Frederick are probably making near minimum salaries. That will change once their current contracts are up and Walters will have to play with that secondary a bit to keep their collective salaries within reason.

i dont think you can say he has not had a good career, but he is a shadow of his 2007-2010 self. 37 year old Kevin Glenn is 27 year old Max Hall......
