  1. The Colors couldn't be the same as before, They are the Jets farm team so obviously the colors are going to be that of the JETS. The Logo is pretty cool, a pissed off Moose, The Jerseys look pretty decent, maybe wish they still used the number format the old moose used but still, it makes sense. Also there is some speculation and rumors going around that as part of the renos to MTS centre this off-season/summer, the seats are also going to be changing colors to what you see in the color scheme, Blue, darker blue, silver/white ish... I like the Colors here, it's Jets colors. Most AHL teams/ALL AHL teams really wear the colors of the big club.
  2. The way i see it, it's just another option to go do something in the Winter time really. Not a big bar fan, do go out to restaraunts and lounges occasionally but not often now that there is a little one around, Moose games? Why not, probably be more of a family friendly atmosphere too. Don't get me wrong, will still go to every JETS game that i possibly can but... to take the girl and the little lady to a moose game? 45 bucks or so? That's a pretty sweet deal, heck probably 30 cuz doubt the little one would even need a seat of her own. A night of entertainment for the whole family for less than 50 bucks? I'm in.
  3. The Jerseys look sweet for sure. Tickets are cheaper than the previous moose teams tickets. 15 bucks a game. I won't be buying seasons but at 15-25 bucks a game, I'll definitely go check out some games. Great day really. Was hoping they would maybe change the name but... it is what it is and I think the logo and jerseys are pretty damn sweet looking.
  4. Bears make sense. Still think it's air force related tho.
  5. Mini camp invites mean nothing
  6. Unless you count Chung and McEwen who aren't signed but are heading to mini camp then I think so
  7. Wow. Take Demski at 2 then.
  8. Manitoba Falcons. Or Thrashers just cuz screw Atlanta
  9. Bridge to Detroit
  10. Boyko to Philly
  11. Varga signed as undrafted free agent by indy
  12. No Varga boyko bridge etc and it's almost over
  13. Through 5 and a bit rounds no cfl draft eligible player taken in NFL draft
  14. Where's myers and why would we make that trade? Better yet why would Edmonton
  15. Don't think it's moose. Might be airforce themed like the big club
  16. Als released about 10 players.. Of the names i've heard of... Larry Taylor and a LB with the same name as a San Jose Sharks Hockey player, Joe Thornton.
  17. It really depends what the bombers want in their RB, Cotton lit it up when he got his chance, but... refresh my memory here, is he a good blocking running back? Can he light it up consistently, I think he can but do the bombers? Honestly, the way i see the RB position, unless you find that Charles Roberts type franchise running back, you always gotta keep looking because RB has got to be the most easiest position to find players for. Tons of RB's out there really, Cotton might be the best one of the bunch this year, maybe he's not. Even if you do find that Roberts type of franchise running back, you still gotta keep looking cuz eventually you will find someone who is better it seems. Just look at the amount of RB's we have used since Blink went away, Joe Smith,Chris Garrett,Fred Reid, Grigsby,Cotton, probably missing one or 2 also, no, i'm not counting dorzon or whatever his name was lol.. and for the record, none were as good as Roberts but It's an easy position to fill and i suppose when you think about it, In the SMS era, I'm not sure what Cotton is being paid, no idea but... if one of the rookies come in and is better than him? You probably save some cash. As for Benton, was shocked to see that too but... on the other site, the official one, a couple videos were posted in a topic and Benton did not look very good at all... yeah it was only a few seconds long but... makes one wonder if the rest of his mini camp went like that too.
  18. Yup, it's a good news thing, I just really don't think he's in the JETS plans. But yup gaining an asset is always a good thing.
  19. Just a gut feeling butt don't see Burmistrov being back with the Jets at all, I have a strong feeling that they will trade him, perhaps for a pick (maybe 3rd rounder) or perhaps package him up with someone else for a larger deal.. I just don't see Burmi fitting in with the current group anymore.
  20. Helle goalie playing for the US
  21. What I've learned posting here is you think everything the bombers do is the wrong move so just saying, but since you seem to always think they are doing wrong, your shtick is getting/gotten old.
  22. Good news regardless of the amount. It's not easy to find a QB. US bomber fans should know this more than everyone else.
  23. Or the bombers want competition at every spot. They also have some holes. DE. LB. 1 receiver spot. RB probably. Also a new D scheme too.
  24. Not shocked lol. I'd be shocked if it hit plus 30 in April. 4 more degrees. Just gut feeling they go wr at 2 I'm not in to trading pick 2 for other picks, I mean what's the point really, It's the CFL DRAFT, not the NFL draft or NHL draft.. In my opinion, a guy taken at 2 is just as likely to succeed or fail as the guy taken at 22 or whatever really. It's not like there are sid crosbys or jameis winstons in the CFL draft, It's a bunch of guys that really, you don't know what you are gonna get. With an OL, you could get a flop like Scott Mitchell who was ranked like number 1 in his draft year.. Or you could get a pierre luc labbe, say what you want but the guy had a great career and was a very late, if not the latest pick in his draft year. In 2 years that OLINE you take at 2 might be off to the NFL cuz the NFL wants oline too.. say we take an oline at 2 and he leaves for the NFL in a couple seasons? Is it a good pick? He never comes back meanwhile one of the guys we passed on, let's just say Demski here, he's a 1000 yard guy. I'm under the impression here that the rankings are meaningless, if you want Demski, take him at 2. If that's the guy you actually want... where you pick him is irrelevant, If he's the guy you want... pick him at 2 and go OL at 11 really. It's all about who the bombers feel will be the best player in the draft, perhaps the best player not to go to the NFL even in the draft, Listen Henock was a great player but he's in the NFL now.. was it really a good pick when you think about it? Don't you want guys who will stick around their entire careers? If the bombers feel that Demski is the guy, get him, if they feel it's an OL, get him instead. It's all about who they feel is the best player available, in terms of needs i would assume. Looking at the roster, Geez that Canadian receiver depth looks pretty weak actually.
