I’ve been to Edmonton and now have it on my weather app on my phone and been checking pretty regularly this winter and honestly Winnipeg is warmer most days it seems. Winnipeg and Regina similar this winter. Don’t get me wrong. Winnipeg has had some cold stretches but so has Edmonton and there’s appear colder. This winter has been Calgary like. Cold for a week or 2 then way above normal he says on a day where it’s minus 6 but minus 20 with the windchill but yesterday was plus 6.

It was political tho. But also Toronto is the only city with a soccer only (eventho argos play there) facility. BMO is a soccer field. Commonwealth is a track n field all in one facility. BMO had soccer in mind when built. So it makes sense to put the $$$ towards the soccer stadium for World Cup soccer. Edmonton can host a commonwealth games or pan am if they do that still.

Cogs Schenn would be a great 3rd pair. Personally not sold on miller either. I think miller Stanley is awful. 2 0 after 2. Jets started coming on and Jets getting chippy so interesting 3rd coming up. Anderson making saves he normally doesn’t. im gonna be honest. I’m kind of a canes fan. I think Carolina Winnipeg would be a great cup final. I feel both markets are viewed the same. Stanley does stand out like a sore thumb tho. This team is built on speed forechecking and defensive ability. Stan ain’t good at any of that. Carolina is making Stanley look slow and lost. It will be Schenn on the right and Stanley on the left. Miller is kind of erratic. There’s a reason he signed 2 years here cuz nobody else was interested. I think he is good with his role and that role appears to be depth.
