The salary cap might even go down.. Buff isn't getting 40 million over 5 years. It just won't happen. He's gonna be dealt, that's elite player money, Buff is not elite, Elite players make differences game in game out, Buff takes 2 many nights off in my opinion. As for Filling up the stadium, I think if the team is winning, people will come out and support them. It's really that simple. Iso, for a guy who doesn't live in Winnipeg, you seem to like to think you speak for lots of Winnipegers. Winnipeg is a sports town, give the fans a team worth cheering for and that stadium is filled, they sucked the last 2 years and attendance was still pretty darn good. For a losing team at that. Yeah they didn't average 30,000 but not many places in the CFL do. Maybe only 1 or 2. I would suspect the Bombers even with the losing are TOP 3 maybe at worst TOP 4 attendance wise in the league. Not bad for a team who is losing. What's that say about the fans? It says we care and we will show up, if they start winning, the fans will fill that stadium. EASILY.

Kopitar is a franchise player tho, that's how things are going... You will see more deals like that for the actual superstars and Kopitar is one, he's actually better than Toews in my opinion but doesn't get much fanfare. I'd say it's a fair deal for Kopitar.
