Coaches the goalies. Basically that's the best way to explain it. I know it sounds ridiculous but... yup. I guess you can say in practice he works with them on positioning... on rebound control. They have iPads and watch video of the upcoming team focusing on players tendencies and who likes to shoot and where and pretty much.... name it. As a former goalie I've been to many sweat camps and goalie camps and all that and outside of the iPad... everything I did there Flaherty does with helle and Hutch. They don't need to go far to find a goalie coach... moose have a good one in Rick st Croix Washington has a very good goalie coach who came over with trotz from Nashville. Go check out hotby pre trotz and now. Devan Dubnyk is another example. Really praised Sean Burke who is available actually right now but apparently wants to be more than just goalie coach. The right goalie coach will turn an average goalie in to a very good one... the wrong goalie coach can turn a good goalie in to a not so good one

I don't disagree with any of that either, I just think sometimes, these actors just need to shut up about everything, they live in a bubble, they don't have problems like the average person does, they don't get it, No issue with what Streep said, she's a legend, she can say what she wants, she also didn't mention trump by name, she was just talking in general... and she was very much right about what she said. I do think, actors should probably shut the hell up as they don't really understand the realities of the average american, how can they? they live in Hollywood in 300 million square foot palaces, But.. she didn't mention Trump by name. Just to add, I don't watch these awards shows, because i just don't care, but if i did, i wouldn't want to hear everyone come up and talk politics, I mean, i don't watch TV shows or don't go to movies to hear about Politics and all this stuff, it actually sickens me that these actors think they truly know whats best for everyone, They have NO CLUE AT ALL themselves, but... if i was to watch one of these shows, if someone talks about Trump or Politics or whatever else, global warming, etc, I'll shut it off, I don't need to hear these peoples opinions on it, especially not watching an awards show, tv show or movie where i'm supposed to be trying to escape reality for a while.

If you actually read the entire article and not just take little snippets, you would get the impression that not all is well in Jets land.. I find it more interesting that Chevy says he's happy with the coaching staff top to bottom but then specifically mentions the AHL coaches instead.. I don't see much praise for Maurice in that article, i see, a guy who won't throw Maurice and his staff under the bus, I don't see praise tho and i certainly don't think Maurice getting an extension is guaranteed at all, If i had to put it in to percentage terms, i still feel 60 40 that they are leaning towards getting rid of maurice and the coaching staff (most of it), There are just to many little shots taken at Maurice in that article, some are subtle, some aren't... Chevy referencing the fact that Maurice himself said you are what your record is and not really throwing out any excuses like schedule, injuries,etc... I dunno, seems to me that Maurice might be gone in the off season. I just don't get the sense at all that Chevy is exactly happy with Maurice and the Jets coaching staff. If you expect Chevy to come out and throw Maurice under the bus, yeah, that's not gonna happen but in the sports world, most the time, when little interviews like this come out, it's a precursor to the next move, which would be firing Maurice. I'd almost call it the kiss of death, but i really don't see Chevy praising Maurice at all in this article.
