Uninformed fans can troll online and blame this guy or whoever the whipping boy is that particular game but in football especially.. U win as a team.. U lose as a team. QB could be better? Sure.. WR could have caught that? Sure LB could have made the tackle? Ok Its never 1 guy. There is 1 team sport where u can blame 1 guy... Baseball.. Fact.. Jets are the 2nd best team in the league behind Tampa.. 677 winning percentage. They have played less games than both Nashville (1 point ahead) and Toronto. Jets also have the franchise's best 30 now 31 game record to start the year. Oilers hung around cuz Talbot. Only pure homers would think otherwise

The shot attempts in the 3rd were like 41 to 5 Jets.. They dominated. Talbot was 🔥 Edmonton scored 1 goal that 50 percent of the time don't count... Another deflection off a guys leg . No Talbot.. Its like 7 8 9 4 easily Jets. Dude stood on his head in the 3rd.

PRA is a solid line. If Maurice doesn't give them 10 minutes hes dumb. This to me is important.. Will Maurice play the 4th line more than 6 minutes. Give ESW and CLL a break. Cuz right now S and W in particular are being overplayed. My biggest concern with Maurice is he overplays some guys.. Overplayed Helle last year and this year too and is overpaying S and W. 4th line needs 10 minutes. Appleton is good.. Solid player with some finishing ability. Strong on puck. Let the 4th line play. Part of the 3rd period collapses this year is Maurices refusal to roll 4 lines and his love affair for overplaying S and W even when they aren't feeling it. S and W gassed.

He makes zero difference as 1 guy isnt the problem.. Its the lack of Team D.. Enstrom literally missed half the year last year due to injury... He makes no difference. The forwards buying in to D first hockey does tho. Right now they just wanna score and not defend at all.

Team D is horrible and non existent. There comes a point when the team starts to tune the coach out and im wondering if we are seeing that now. With that being said, Shilling is awful and he and Myers were on the ice for several goals doing nothing... Helle needs to make the save on the 3rd goal, smaller equipment playing a role here but.. He was and has been hung out to dry this season. Broissoit got lit up in St Louis so its not Helle exclusive.. Its the lack of team D altho.. When Chiarot or Shilling is in your top 4 and Maurice refuses to play the 4th line... Everybody else gets overplayed and tired and make dumb mistakes
