Goalie

Leafs look good. 4th game now tho so rust Is off. Jets look awful. Be nice to see just a bit of effort from our leaders. Best Jet besides Helle.. ya I'm going there..Logan Stanley. Not that he's playing great the rest of the team has just been that bad. 26 Mins last game for Scheif.. likely on pace tonight. Can't be burning him out so early. Leafs playing chess we playing checkers. 2 0 = over. I'd be shocked if we scored tonight. We suck without Laine.

Demelo still off a few days. New dad so congrats to him. Wouldn't hate to see Stanley tonight. Brings some size and toughness but probably struggle a bit against the quicker leafs. Shelter him. Think Samberg is ready. Dudes a man. He's a big kid. Niku hasn't been great in most NHL games he's played.. injuries or flu or whatever else is ok right now.. makes us take a look at the young guys. Wouldn't be shocked to see Heinola get games eventually also. Stanley or Samberg back to taxi. Seems like there's a method to this madness. Stanley should play first... He's most senior on this list in terms of he's been here the longest.. Let's see what the young D bring. Let's be honest.. it can't be worse than what we had last season to start

In reality he missed a bunch of camp so prob an injury.

Yup. Gonna be interesting tonight. Leafs top 6 is pretty elite. So are the Jets tho. Gonna come down to goaltending.

Maybe. But he's not known to do that. I mean it's been a year without football.. Harris isn't a 25 yr old anymore.. I dunno.. could see him wanting more money for sure. But regardless. Irrelevant now since he did sign.

Forsberg needs to spend a week or so there. Poolman was likely related to yesterdays practice being cancelled. Only positive here is Niku gets more games and likely needs them.. gonna be honest with him.. think he needs to show more. This gives him time to do that. Sucks tho cuz I thought with Demelo back from child birth.. we'd get a look at our top 6 D all in the lineup finally. Guess not yet tho.

Wonder if his age and the fact well it's been a year without playing was a factor. Love AH33 but.. he's not a young guy anymore.

The hospital numbers are the important one. Restrictions can't or won't and certainly shouldn't be lifted until hospital numbers are lower and we are in single digit numbers.

This has happened 7 x now already. Canucks too. Only once did it result in a postponement. Wonder if Forsberg pick up is a factor. He will be on the active roster.

So either protocol. Some idiot went out or a Flames player had it.

See the tweet? Might be a longer wait. Jets possibly exposed to the virus.

https://winnipeg.ctvnews.ca/chief-of-peguis-first-nation-rejects-premier-s-call-to-end-holiday-gatherings-1.5234900 1 of many. Sometimes it's not the governments fault. Sometimes it's the people who are stupid.

71 in Winnipeg. 84 in the North. You know hate to say it but the North encouraged Xmas gatherings. They paying for that now.

Guess ppl missed the 1st. Jets sucked. Sorry but top 4 D don't turn the puck over as much as Forbort does. All in all tho after the complete crap show 1st.. Jets were the better team. Laine best player on the Ice not named Markstrom.

Gotta get Laine on the Ice more. Less 4th line. Don't like Forbort. Way to many bad giveaways. Slow starts still a Jets thing. So is dominating the second period tho.

Give Patty 1st line and 10 plus. Dude is beast mode. By far the best Jet so far.

People here didn't like Evander because he was a ****** not cuz he was black. 85 WBB and 33 Jets are 2 of the most popular stars here in my lifetime

Eventually I'd like to see Ehlers scheif Laine Connor Stast wheels all American line

Not sure.

Berdin only plays If Helle and Bro get Covid.

The Winnipeg numbers matter most. We all pretty much live here. Most of the population of MB call WPG home so seeing the big city numbers go down is huge. Vaccinate the rest of MB first and then in I'm gonna say Early March.. when it started really last year.. restrictions can be lifted. But I'd like to also be able to buy my growing 6 yr old new pants.

748 deaths tho regardless of percentage tho is way less still than many other provinces. Obviously this means bigger population more deaths regardless of percentages so it's kind of a meh. It's like calling us the murder capital but only have like 55 murders. It's silly.

Sucks for Sbisa. Actually lived here year round. Comrie. Lol. Man.. its more funny. Guess Jets need another goalie tho.

Not until the hospital numbers go way down. Get those 154 who are there but don't have covid anymore home and then prob another 80 or so and yup.. hopefully soon.

It might. Sounds like ppl think this is a technical move so Perreault can join the taxi squad. Doubt he's claimed cuz 4.125 million reasons but... Sounds like it's a technical move of sorts.. turns out gotta clear waivers to join taxi squad but I'm sure they would be ok if f someone picked him up and his salary.
