Like 5.5 to 6.5 long term. 7 is 2 high tho. Yeah its only 500k but in a cap world and CBA world where Trouba is an RFA meaning he has no rights really.. Play or sit pretty much, why would Jets bend over for him. Wonder how much this is Trouba and how much its his agent who has a long history of this.

He has many comparables out there who are around 5.5 or less. You want to overpay him? Thats the only way he stays.. They should go 6 years 36 max long term. Buys 4 UFA years.. But dont overpay since you got guys like scheif lowry ehlers helle on market value deals. Lets say u do give him 7.. Ok then u gotta give Morrossey more also.. Cuz hes better overall. And then Laine Wheeler Connor. Oh boy... Cap troubles cuz u overpay 1 non elite D man.

Portage could be like Broadway also btw. Rather easily. As a matter of fact in theory you could run an LRT line plus bike protected lane plus likely 2 possibly 3 lanes for Traffic on each side if they wanted.. Tons of room. Opening it up is step 1 to a more vibrant safer Portage Avenue. Like Sherbrook street by Stellas and The Tallest poppy and that area. .. Pretty sweet layout there. That works downtown.. LRT cuts down on congestion btw so you dont need as many lanes. 2 go both ways on portage plus lrt line and bike line = ideal and very doable
