I dont sign Chiarot because hes not good enough.. I let Morrow go.. I move on from Myers. I prob sign Beaulieu but not at what hes currently making. Samberg isnt nhl ready.. In another year he probably is but hes not a Makar or Heiskanen or guys like that who would just jump to the NHL right away. Trouba gets u a D in return id think... Maybe u move a guy like Little and or Perreault.. Id also buy out Kulikov.

Sure. Hes a strong guy in the D zone. Hes a great shutdown D. But his instincts are poor. First pair shutdown D on one of the worst D zone teams in the league.

Well the scouting report on him says his hockey IQ was not one of his strong suits. I think when u look at a guy like Morrissey or even Niku and compare what they do to Trouba its even more obvious. Also just listen to him talk. Hes a good D man, his hockey IQ is just lacking tho. He makes lots of dumb decisions like Myers, another low hockey IQ guy.

Id pass on Elomimian. I feel our $$$ would be better spent elsewhere.. With that said, it would depend on the deal. Sort of an incentive laden contract with a base of about 90 to 100 k.. Id consider it.. I likely would have signed JSK tho if i wanted to spend money at WIL.

I just feel, if i was in charge, guys who have been there a long time likely get to comfortable.. Im not saying losing Malenko and Arn is a good thing, i just dont think its necessarily a bad thing either. The new agents like kidd daivari dutt jarrett abyss etc replace the knowledge of arn and Malenko (Simon Dean) and bring new ideas. I get Vince is the issue.. Im just saying, i dont think its that huge of a loss in the long run.

The media is upset cuz Blake has been a bit douchey to them this year. Is he a problem? Maybe. Who knows. His attitude did seem to change this season. I could see him rubbing certain players the wrong way. Blake seems like a guy who likes things done his way. I dunno tho. Trouba? The source of issues? I dunno.. I think the useage issue is the real problem.. Ice time distribution. Vets were coddled this year.. Less accountability for them.. Make a mistake.. Out next shift. Youngster benched. That can lead to problems. Trouba seems 2 dumb to be a problem.

UFC was happy with Winnipeg.. They specifically said they would be back due to all the unfortunate circumstances. Don't think there were that many comps, likely less than in other places. But UFC has lost some of its steam recently. Not as popular today. No real new stars.
