If I’m a betting man I’m putting my money on the blues. Without Scheifele, I just don’t think they can win. I’m not sure they can get 20 shots. Helle needs to let in 1 or less. Impossible situation for Helle tonight. Need some goal scoring. Need Kyle Connor to step up without 55. Never mind Helle, need KC gabe Ehlers to seriously step up.

A blowout is the other team controlling the play all game. That was not the case last night. Jets had a bad 10 minutes that cost them. The other 50 ******* minutes tho was pretty even. But sure. You could make the case in St. Louis we are being out coached Also but in St. Louis we don’t get the last change so that’s part of it. Part of it also is having no scoring depth on the road, we get gabe back game 5 in Winnipeg only to lose mark game 5 but get Ehlers back game 6. Always something. Keep it close. Maybe those last line changes are making the difference cuz different series in St. Louis than Winnipeg. I think there’s a real possibility of whoever winning this series wins the cup.

But ironically Comrie is number 2 in the playoffs in goals against average. It’s irrelevant cuz we get blown out games 3 and 4 with him in net Also. Helle was a man by himself in the first. 8 2 shots after 1. And of those 7 8 shots he made 5 or 6 10 bell saves. St. Louis is exposing our small slow D. I think goal 3 was tough but the other 4, no chance really. You can’t give pucks away in the slot and expect to win. Stanley alone did that 3 4 times. Demelo was mentioned, ended up in the back of the net. Luke Schenn is cooked. I can see why he was actually on waivers and sent down not long ago. He’s being exposed badly. Without 55 we can’t win tho and honestly I thought the boys generally played hard but imploded for 10 minutes. Honestly. Once it was 3 1 it was over cuz who was scoring 3 more to win for us. Appleton being offside by 5 feet was my turning point.

They were tho up until start of the 3rd. First and the first 10 minutes were even. Last 10 of the 2nd wasn’t. 3rd is garbage time. The other pluses are the pp is currently 2 for 5 and pk is perfect going a ridiculous 7 for 7. I don’t think the problem on d is fixable tho. Kinda double downed on it signing pionk long term. He gets pushed around easily in this series. So is Josh. Schenn is a disaster as is Stanley. Samberg ? He’s ok. Demelo being pushed around also.

It’s 5 2 but this one feels different. Jets aren’t being blown out. They had 10 12 minutes that Cost them 4 goals and the game. Outside of that, and without the number 1 center and lw since KC does nothing without 55, I think they have played a solid road game.
