Stanley in reality is a decent 6 d man on most nhl teams. I think Stanley’s biggest problem is the jets drafted him in the first round cuz guys a solid 6 7 on most nhl teams. He kills penalties. He’s big. That matters in the nhl. And in the playoffs he has been pretty ok when he did get some games. He’s not as bad as we all say he is. He’s not a top 4 guy and when everyone is healthy, he isn’t. Miller signed 2 years pretty cheap contact. I think he’s ok with the extra d role. Ville at this point is going somewhere with our late 1st in a weak draft. If you compare Stan to most teams 6 7 D men, you learn to appreciate Stan more. He’s not the worst that’s for sure. I actually think Cogs has some 3rd pair rhd potential also as he’s good at creating O.

I would think the nfl just mentioning the cfl would be a win for the cfl. And they do mention them lots. So it’s a win.

What’s the max ppl would pay lawler? How about Schoen? I could see not signing one being legit if they both want the bag.

And in what they being paid. Comrie at like 800k is pretty good value. Not his fault when he lets in 2 and we lose.

There is the possibility that he is released also. I mean lots can happen between now and June really. Is every signing or release they make is gonna be ya but Jake? Outside of kyrie it seems they moving on from guys who are coming off back to back injuries. The kyrie signing is the only one that I’m not a fan of since he’s never healthy. Jake hasn’t been hurt in 7 years so you can understand the logic a bit.

Jake was signed so ppl can have something to complain about. That’s obvious by now. What’s he being paid? Bet he took a cut. As for woli and O guys, outside of Brady, our O sucked. I have no issue with trying different guys on O. All this cash spent on the O and we put up under 20 points most games. Changes on the O side were inevitable. Why ppl pretending our O was any good? I’ll bet there’s more change there.

Isn’t it likely Wilson is back. I mean he’s lucky if he makes it to the jets main camp.

Sounds like Dobson wants to be the highest paid guard in the league or around there. I’m not sure he’s worth it.

Not really. I mean. Our highest paid QB in 23 and 24 just wasn’t good. The play calling was garbage. There’s no excuse this last cup to not give Brady more reps especially when the rookie was in, it’s just dumb **** they do. The injured QB gave the game away in 24. But prior to that had piss poor numbers like every other cup game so far. Zach hasn’t won us a cup yet. AH did and Brady prob could have if they used him. 1 injured receiver shouldn’t be the end for an elite QB like Zach. Maybe Zach isn’t elite tho. I’m mind boggled they didn’t use Brady more. That’s on coaching. But Zach playing like **** in grey cups is on Zach.

This can’t be understated. By the sounds of things Bighill was told basically in the exit interviews he wouldn’t be back. It’s February in a week. I don’t like fishing with Paul cuz I prefer picking a spot and he likes trolling.

Football is essentially played in buildings that resemble old Roman and Greek coliseums. I mean when you think about it they are gladiators and gladiators die on the field, they don’t get carried off. They die. Players will never ever tell you they can’t play and since Osh is old school, he is under this gladiator mentality where the only way you can’t play is if you are dead. They essentially sent a 1 handed QB back out in the grey cup and the year before a couple 1 legged other players. This mentality needs to end. However, as a male, I’ll just walk it off so I understand. Osh needs to be held accountable for playing injured players tho. Kyle and wade need to hold him accountable but then again they are all former gladiators aren’t they. All former players. Wade and Osh, Osh more so than wade but they were warriors out there and probably played through injuries and expect guys in 23 24 25 to do the same. Don’t think we lost in 23 or 24 because of injuries. Think our O sucked. Common theme in grey cups the last couple of years now

I don’t disagree. But he’s gonna be on the team again so probably need to unfortunately accept it. We all know he’s gonna be starting. Lawson off a acl or whatever he had isn’t gonna be the guy he was, I just think we all need to just accept Jake is on the roster cuz unless he’s hurt (hasn’t been in 7 years) he will be rostered.

He plays with that Fn Aho in Carolina. Aho is miles better than names and Ehlers. Not a fair comparison as Cole doesn’t get top line minutes. I’m saying if trade him but only for a young guy on a rfa contract like his. I’m not trading him for a rental. I’d trade him for a young top 4 RHD who needs a change of scenery. Not trading him for rentals or crap like that. Ville and Stan can go for rentals.

Yes. He can’t be starting. Getting more reps than guys better than him. As a rotational piece he’s ok.

Here’s the difference with bighill and Thomas. Bighill has been injured 2 years in a row, Thomas has not been hurt in 7 seasons. Theres the difference. Do I think Thomas should be back? No I don’t. But the one thing he is, is healthy. Bighill is not. I’m assuming also but wouldn’t shock me if Thomas took a pay cut and Bighill was unwilling to do that. Based on the quotes I’d sounds like Bighill is unwilling to accept reality. 2 years in a row he got hurt.

Then he’s an own rental. I’m good with it. Dude has been here his entire career. I’d sign him and looking at moving Perfetti Stanley or heinola honestly but what’s he worth ? 7 x 7.5 probably cuz can’t be paid more than Helle and Scheif. UFA he might get 9 per.
