One of the best bits Wheeler and Hal ever did was calling a "rival" morning show in Sask and convincing him to rip up his Grey Cup tickets because they were "counterfeit"... I believe the Grey Cup was in Regina that year, so my research suggests it was possibly in 2003... I don't know where to find it but it's absolute gold and I highly recommend listening to it if you can find it...

This is a strange old man rant for someone who I'm pretty sure is not that old... While that may be true it's not how the rule works... his hand was moving forward at the time the ball was released and therefore is considered a forward pass... the play was called correctly...

I'm assuming this is in reference to the playoff format... the reason Wade would like this better is because the "new" format would've given the Bombers a home playoff game the last two year... AKA more revenue...

Some people are really over thinking this Feoli-Guidino signing... he likely came cheap, will play special teams, provide leadership, and emergency depth in case of injury... or maybe not even make the team... really a low risk signing...

I think if you are a completely unbiased observer... and are a fan of both leagues... you could make the case that the super bowl was a more entertaining game... Grey Cup: Bombers basically dominate the whole game... no real drama Super Bowl: San Fran is 7 mins away from holding down the mighty KC offense... then they make an epic comeback for the win However, as a Bomber fan... I enjoyed the Grey Cup much more

he's sneaky young too... it feels like he's been on the team forever and he only just turned 29 last month...

this was actually a decent blog for a young guy... shows more insight and knowledge than most of the beat writers that "cover" the Bombers...

I remember 2016 very well... the team was 1-4 (or about to be)... we were sitting in IGF and I said to my lifelong friend/fellow season ticket holder " I might be done, if this season continues like this, I don't think I'm coming back next year"... this was our 13th season has season ticket holders.... The next game in Edmonton, Matt Nichols was named as the starter over Drew Willy... a couple other changes were made too... Loffler started at S, Bond was moved to G and Hardrick at RT... and that started something different... that was the first day that the team became competitive and we finally saw the results of that last November... Long story short... without Matt Nichols I am confident that Mike O'Shea and Kyle Walters would no longer be employed by the Bombers and we would not have seen the drought end in November... for that, all Bombers fans owe Nichols a huge amount of gratitude... some people did not love Matt's play over the past 12-18 months... which is fair... but you can't deny that he was one of the major reasons this team is where it is today. Thank you Matt Nichols... all the best in the future...

At what point do we start giving Kyle Walters the benefit of the doubt?... he's been the man for over 6 years now and in that time he has proven to be a shrewd and intelligent cap manager... I see no reason to believe Kyle would sign a contract that puts the team in a bad situation... The best thing about this deal is it gives the team two more years to work on McGuire and (hopefully) Streveler to get the heir apparent ready...
