I finally just watched some highlights of the Sask/Mtl game to get a feel for the Riders signature jersey.... their jerseys aren't great either... but at least they look like the Riders

You really want to put Mack's record of draft picks against Huff?? Brad Sinopoli, Brander Craighead, Brent Jones, Dmitri Tsoumpas, Jesse Newman, Jon Gott, Eric Fraser, Steve Mydellton, J'Michael Deane, Rob Maver, Karl McCartney, Matt Walter, Anthony Parker, Brad Erdos, Keenan McDougall, Shane Bergman, Pierre Lavertu. Yeah, he muffed it on Pall. Can't win em all. Eric fraser and Steve Myddleton aren't exactly ringing endorsements either Now you're just nit-picking.... Sure Myddleton and Fraser aren't all-stars but they're both serviceable players.... The kind of depth players every team would want... definitely not busts.... but like Iso said, "can't win em all"

Fair enough... I'm not pretending to know anything about his play since he got drafted (other than the releases).... All I'm saying is if our staff thought he was worth a look, I'd be ok with it...

Really like this one... similar to the helmets the Jags use on a full time basis now.... much better than Wpg, Sask, and Ott

I think there's no harm.... this kid had high potential when he was drafted but didn't do much with it... if he has any desire to keep playing I wouldn't object to giving him a look... worst case scenario: he's got nothing left and we release him...

I'm confused.... I don't like the new jersey... but I've had season tickets for 11 years and have only missed one game in that time.... I also own 7 or 8 other Bombers jerseys... am I considered a true fan by your standards?

Definitely liking those Calgary helmets.... I've actually always been a fan of Calgary's current look.... I know some strongly oppose their road whites

If only the Anderson bros were from just north across the bridge.... I think they should be close enough to be considered nationals.... right???? Anyways, having Greaves at 310 lbs, Morley at 315 lbs and Anderson at 315 lbs would be some nice size on the inside of the line

I think we can all agree the biggest problem is the lack of gold.... gold pants or even gold name/number would have salvaged them.... Also, I'm not a fan of the big W on the front, but I can live with it... but hey if we win in them, wear them every game!

If the Bombers win convincingly on Friday night these will be my new favourite jerseys.....no, not really... but ultimately winning is all I really care about...

Good to know he's a personable guy but I'm more concerned about his play on the field...

I voted no... barring a losing streak that puts them at 1-12 or 1-13 I think he stays the rest of the season..... they brought in all the new 'consultants' who are know coaches, I guess, so they'll give them some time to get it together... Also, we should probably not just "assume" they will lose this week...

The option I would select isn't there.... Have the teams ranked 1-6, no matter which division... but the top 2 seeds in each division get the 1 and 2 spots.... As it currently stands today the playoff standings would be: 1: Calgary 2. Toronto 3. Edmonton 4. Sask 5. BC 6. Winnipeg (or vice versa with BC, I have't looked at the official standings) Keeps 'winning your division' meaningful...

At least they're actually red and black now...

I wouldn't say there's reason to be too discouraged yet.... we lost to Sask cuz they're a veteran team that knows how to win... we lost to Tor cuz we were gassed, Ricky was on fire, and they were more prepared.... yeah there's issues.... I'm not denying that... our run game on both sides of the ball is a pretty big concern.... but, for now, I have faith in this staff... I'm expected a much better performance against Mtl after a much needed break...

Interesting that Argos play at home both of their games during their short week, where we just played on the road for ours. The travel is exhausting on the players and it eliminates one practice day too. Teams on these short weeks should play both games at home IMO. Not to mention Sask had to play two road games on their short week.... CFL favouring Tor over Wpg and Sask is nothing new

I would chalk up these comments as rhetoric to get the Tor D fired up.... nothing else... IMO our guys were still giving their all... they were just gassed...

I picked Ray, Slaton (obviously shoulda gone with Steele) and Waters on the TSN fantasy this week.... it is pretty ridiculous that they would allow that to happen... I was thinking the way to even it out would be to give Toronto players ridiculous value for this one week only... eg Ray is worth 500k, so taking him would mean you have to really skimp out elsewhere... And yeah like someone else mentioned.... I still went with Sask D... they seem like the best play against Mtl... even with TO playing 2 games

So I did some quick research and turns out Stoudermire was a RB in high school... but that's still a while ago... played WR and Corner in university but finished his career as a returner/CB.... not sure throwing him in at RB is a great idea...

Couldn't agree more... there's a few people around here who already have one foot off the edge of the cliff!

I wouldn't say there's zero concern.... but when you look at the way the cards were stacked against us this game it's easier to give a pass.... much needed 10 day break now
