Not convinced this a Cup winner....Unless this team puts Streveler in after Nichols goes into his useless dive...we ain't winning nothing...When the pressure is on Nichols goes into his sheep routine...get him outta there...This should not have been close....Defence won this one....easy call

Too bad for the guy....Was a big fan and wish him well in his recovery ...If it is an acl.....and with his injury history...doesn't sound good

ya know, I'd hate to think it would be because the opposition was very weak that we got to sip from the Cup....BUT after 27 yrs...... or is it 28 of drought at winning the classic....I'll take it....and I hope we beat up on a few teams on the way

Some of the stuff on the field you can see is brutal...BUT in those pile-ups you can't see, there's a whole lot of ugly going on in those as well....like eye gouging and fingers being used in other areas of the body...Rough game that football.....lol

Totally agree....In their attempt to hype the game (see MR hype in our first outing) the broadcast crew lost the plot.....It's becoming a real problem when the actual game takes a back seat to hamburgers and Ricky R...Too much fluff and no meat ( and no not that damned burger) and it's turning people off ... TSN better get back on track or we'll continue to see a dwindling fan base

Was that the same Chungh on that sieve of an O line?....It's a wonder that Reilly made it out of there alive...He was pounded severely and just about broke his neck on one play, where he tried to run up the middle...B.C. is bad and the transition that Claybrook's is going to have to make seems a long way off....Betcha Chungh would like to do a re-think on hs fa move right about now...Leo's in for a very tough year by the looks of it

Wonderlic didn't have a reading for Bishop's football smarts...it didn't record that low.. BUT he had one helluva arm...Easily threw from end zone to end zone at skydump ...no wind just all arm

Witnessed two of the worst D's in he country last night....QB's moved at will....Can't wait to see what Nichol's & Co.will do against either of those clubs....

If McGuire beat out Bennett ....and Bennett is the best qb. on the riders roster as I see it....Then our third stringer is better than anything the toothless wonders have come up with....Better think hard ripper on any qb. talk around here

A little more green with envy today there bud....The picking apart I saw was Hecht grabbing a couple of his throws...Nichols out played him last night ....Reilly would admit that...Throwing for big yardage means squat when you're on the short end of the score

Hecht......great game from a guy who was being crapped on by a lot of the faithful....a little crow perhaps Harris.....was it my imagination or does he look even better this year..O Line deserves credit but he was making it happen all night Wolitarsky.....this kid is headed for BIG things...solid I was po'd about the play calling on this one....Half the bloody time Ford (burger king) and Bozo (the Transcona guy) were so caught up in falling all over Reilly and the leos', that they missed calling a lot of the plays we were making...I was beginning to think there was only one team out there last night...Gawd awful...get rid of the clown act tsn

Great game out of the gate...Still have some hiccups but overall I think we looked like the team to beat out of all of the play week one.....We tried to make a star returner out of the Leo's return guy,Rutley....We're still weak on coverage on occasion with regard to kick returns.......Reilly looked like Reilly for most of the game but our constant pressure from our D line caused him to throw a lot he'd like to have back...Nichols on the other hand was solid...Wolitarski is headed for a big year...Hope he's not too nic'd up after hitting his wrist on a helmet....ouch........Harris was Harris and watching him closely...he hasn't lost a step...The star of the game was Hecht....I don't know why we had so much negativity about him taking on the role vacated by Loffler...he was firing on all cylinders with 2 pics.....Particularly liked the chicken dance he was doing in Carter's face when Duran pulled up on the ball, with Hecht ready to lay a heavy on him...Liked what I saw last night and I think we can challenge anyone in the west for the top rung..Smiling faces today in Bomber Land

Gotta get Reiley on his horse....Punch holes in the Leos' o line and pressure the hell out of him...Watch out for his sneaky escape ability and cover tight...We should be able to take this one, even without Mathews...Go get em BigBlue
