Have to find a way to keep Cooley......strong runner and follows the blocking well

I see the return game is taking off where we left it last year .....for cripes sake bring in a true returner...Logan better be injury free or we're in trouble...Artopeus had poor field position and didn't seem to get untracked before he got yanked....Wilson didn't look much better....Chris is rounding into form...Didn't like the pic he threw but otherwise looked sharp

Particularly liked that little Choquette kid...Ripped off a nice td run and he can also catch in traffic...Only preseason but we should keep an eye on that guy for sure.....

Nobody looked good in the return dept. last year ...We need to stop screwing around with the returner position...Why the hell we ever parted ways with Grant still boggles my mind....Whitehead showed **** all last year and there was literally nobody behind him...Preseason better show we've turned up a decent prospect OR Case shows he belongs...Tired of watching a guy field a punt and literally fall down...disheartening to say the least ...We can't give up field position continually and be successful.....Here's hopin we 'find' OR have found the guy

No wonder Calgary is at or near the bottom of the league, with players like Dedrick Mills who says today, he will never spend another winter in Canada, specifically Cal.... This club needs another Dustin Byfuglien...We need a 'heavy', to put those cheap shots like the one on Schief, in check...Dallas is getting away with a lot of crap due to poor officiating BUT with a player like Buff to police things , that cheap-shot bs disappears... We're also not taking enough shots on goal when the opportunity is there....too many passes around their goal and not enough pucks on net...We have to get this kid Otto off of his game or it'll be 'that's all she wrote'...

Just complete bull$hit that Schenn wasn't given a suspension....Deliberate attempt to injure as far as I'm concerned....That was one of the worst reffed playoff games I've witnessed in quite awhile....If that's the way they want to play it then it's even up time...Start keying on a couple of their forwards and let them know that two can play that game...start borderline hammering these bastasches and show them where the bear crapped in the buckwheat

Thinking a lot about the Elgersma pick....It was an extra thrown our way in any event and looking at our current qb. situation it 'could' bode very well for the future.....IF the kid signs here (it's an 'if' cuz he's getting a lot of looks down south) what better way to start off your career, that being mentored by a guy like Zack.....Once in awhile you get a player who has loads of talent and are viewed as somewhat extra special...Hard to pass on those especially when they are waved under your nose and obtainable....A quaterback by the name of Jim Van Pelt came our way back in the day....He was that kind of extra special player....a phenom that Bud Grant couldn't/wouldn't cut ...in fact he made him the starter when he first showed up, over a pretty good qb. on our roster, by the name of Kenny Ploen....It happens once in awhile...rare though, and I'm not saying Elgersma is that player.... BUT I say we give this kid every opportunity to succeed and see how this all shakes out...Here's hopin' we found something special
