......So one week today the 26' schedule is released.....I sure hope we get a better shake than last years version .....The spacing of bye weeks was crappy to say the least....there has to be some improvement in that area....

IF we come up with the same results as last season...I think it's safe to say it's happening....We don't want to be late to the table and end up with the type of fa signings we had in 25'...There had to be some heavy early gm work by other clubs ....most of the prime signings seemed to be lined up before fa and most of the good players were committed or gone immediately when fa opened....leaving us with the scraps....Logan and Mitchell come to mind

....Yeah....time to get aggressive in our search for talent ....We seem to dawdle along until most of the talent is spoken for....Let the player(s) 'KNOW' that we are interested in their services now....All the other clubs are in that game

All of this you mention would be seen as being very 'proactive' ......something foreign to this club it seems

Chad Mitchell??...Now IF that guy exists....and combining the problems of Chad Kelly and Dillon Mitchell into that persona ...you would have one very disturbed individual...NOT trying to be funny because these players need professional help and it usually starts out with 'self denial'....Help isn't readily available in a lot of instances and they usually won't seek it on their own, UNTIL a criminal situation confronts them....These individuals are now forced to seek help ...it shouldn't have had to reach this point

Bombers granted permission to talk to Argos Mike Miller for offensive coordinator job....Bombers have already interviewed Tommy Condell for offensive coordinator...I think it's safe to say Bombers are interested in hiring someone else to be their offensive coordinator in 26'

Danny Mac played behind Tom Burgess...Seen action in the 78th Cup game when we trounced the Esks 50-7...I'm pretty sure Danny chucked one at the end of the game for 6 and the next year moved on...Currently he does a competent job for the BigBlue

IF Elgersma decides to sign, that would make the future quarterbacking picture a lot brighter here...Sounds like he showed pretty good in Green Bay, but was caught up in the ol political games they play with their pivots, and was released ....sounds too familiar.... Anyway we don't know how he would work out in the CFL...Sounds like Walters is keen on the kid.... Maybe we'll get to see for ourselves come training camp ........

I sure am not overly optimistic about bringing the 'Miller' band back BUT now that it's a done deal, we better start working on how this is going to go down....We obviously can't make the same errors as this last season....namely roster management (that can be corrected) and the poor decision making that went on in free agency.....There's also no way to sell the re-signing of Thomas to the Bomber faithful and keeping Kola as our centre....Seeing no roster changes being made will send the signal more of the same ....This club has a chance to turn things around and making the same mistakes, that seen us 'just making the playoffs ,will not go over.....Call me a 'jaded optimist' with a touch of pessimism, about the club in general for 26' and hoping for change.... So que the 'dumb and dumber guy' with the subtitle...'so you think there's a chance'....cuz I think that's all we got

I agree and that's why he has to be taken to task by Miller IF we see the same thing unfolding in 26'...O'Sh has always struck me as a guy who could have narrow vision and not accept input from anyone else, seeing that as a weakness....He has to learn to be more pliable when it comes to roster management or we could end up with the same failed result as this season.....AND further to that we could see empty seats at the Princess and that doesn't bode well for anybody....We want to see a winner ...We know the 2 guys who have been given 3 year deals have the ability...they've proven that ...We just have to get back to the things that made us a winner ...Hopefully the faith given to Walters and O'Shea results in just that....a return to the winner circle

Bring back Kenny.....one of the top receivers in this league.....I don't know if he was on a one year IF he was bring him back...I also hope we can talk Elgersma to show up here....The future of the qb situation is dire and we need to make some serious plans ......scrap the return of Lawler ....guess he signed for 2 years

I hope it's NOT more of the same in 26'....This last season was a disaster in so many ways for the BIGBLUE...I'm sure Miller ,Walters, Osh and some of the coaching staff are going to have to have a 'big sit down' meeting and hash things out, because we can't have a repeat....Failing to make major changes will result in the Princess being turned into a pumpkin....meaning fans will not buy more of the same...We had a winning recipe for success awhile back....we have to find our way back...Starting it out would be getting rid of the 'deadwood' and certainly put together a better free agency plan than what was executed in 25'....Those are 2 starting points...A helluva lot of hard work is a key component ....I hope we're up for it

So where does Faj/Tre Ford fit in......very interesting indeed
