I was mortified when I saw Moe go down...I thought ....oh boy here we go...Another guy (mvp) headed for the ir...the guy we so depend on in our D...I leapt out of my seat when he returned and made that tackle on Rainey, with not a lot of room to spare...What else can you say about Leggett.. ALLSTAR ALL THE WAY...Harris had a good game but I thought Dressler had a better one...I don't know what happened to our punt coverage on the Rainey returns but then again he burns everyone in this league...I have to believe that our last plays when we needed to secure the ball was a little loose...BUT I think the command centre got it right and the ruling of no fumble was correct...Great back and forth game and am looking forward to the next game in B.C.

Exactly Mike....Big Country returns....Why he didn't work out for the arenogoods I don't know ....what I do know is that this guy can catch and motor..

Get Gurley in the line-up......orrrr will it be a little much getting him oriented that quick...If he isn't I want to see him in Vancouver next game..

Only one fly in the ointment...does anyone know if he has nfl aspirations or can we lock him up for a few years??

Not unless Gurley is another Adam Bighill....if he is then he might put the stop on Bo and Reilly...Don't think Gurely will help us in the stop dept. but he sure can move the ball downfield on offence...As for Hazelton... his play didn't seem to bother the esks. as they signed him today.

Well I've watched Gurley's play for the last couple years....I think he cracks our line-up easily...Maybe your definition of superior is a little different than mine??

Is Adams back for sure Mike?? and are you going by what O'Shea said who has been known to stretch those returning times..lol..What if he's not ready...I'll agree Gurley is the guy I want signed BUT maybe he knows that and is playing his cards close to his chest hoping for a lot more than we want to pay???Don't know...As for your question..'do we need an upgrade at receiver that badly'?... Anytime you can upgrade and it's in front of your face you go after it...unless you think we have what it takes to be Cup bound...I don't think we have that at this time and a lot of fans following this club don't think so either..I'd sure like the group of receivers we have now, to prove me wrong, and if you believe Mike O I guess we do...We'll see.

Guess it came together pretty quick for Hazelton...IF you don't strike when the iron is hot...you might as well dither I guess...Seems like this organization does a lot of that and then have all kinds of excuses to protect the status quo... I really like the guys we got but it is so glaring that we need to upgrade at receiver...Fans are not dumb and are not going to buy that this club has what it takes to go somewhere post season... Especially after the last two games..We don't need play by play from reporters for sure...Flawless Lawless and his musing will do....but I'd really like to see a signing.

.....It's odd we haven't heard a peep about 'maybe' signing one of these guys...Lawless and other media reporters have been mute concerning these recent cuts from T.O....We get wonderful stories of how touring Henoc has been doing but zippo on these guys...You'd think there'd be something out there ...negative or positive...The more this drags out the more it looks like we are passing on these receivers...I don't think that's going to sit too well with the locals, especially considering what other competition in our division has done..

Or his third tour...or is it his fourth down south??? If he plays like he did in Mont. (sitting on the bench soaking up the rays and cash) then the riders will prolong their agony with signings like this...

Very definitely....Herb was a lot like Grant....easy going and talented....and a huge force on the field....Sure boggles my mind today that we paid him more than what he could get in the nfl...The guy loved it here...I wish we had more of those types in the league today.

Gurley for sure.....Rumour was that we were trying to pry him out of T.O. with that trade for Willy, but Milonavitch put the kibosh on it and we ended up with Heath .... Not that's not a good thing but I'm sure we had interest...It's a no-brainer to go after him now....Can't figure Milonavitch out with this one....If he wanted to keep Gurley then...what has happened since????

If we don't try to acquire Gurley something is radically wrong here...He's exactly what we need and better than Sinkfield in my opinion...Because he had problems in T.O. doesn't necessarily translate to problems here...Different scenario altogether between us and the argos..

No this can't be true...Rider board says it's Hazelton ..you know that can't be wrong lol...Someone has their wires crossed...It appears to be Elliott...Maybe Milo isn't finished yet...

Willy the rest of the way for the Argo's?....IF he plays as good as he did in their last outing, I think the no 1 overall in 17 is looking pretty good...lol

A decade on our defence and he was SOLID... Herb was all star material every year as far as I was concerned...Very well deserved honour.. A big part of the Grant era and all those Cups..

Hazelton looked good the few times I saw him play.....Pretty good size and can catch when he wants to play....Seems he doesn't want to play in argoland and what is the reason????Sees a team stuck in the mud and going nowhere I guess...Does that say he has a bad attitude and not the material O'Shea thinks is worthy....Maybe it's time to look past that and view him as a reclamation project considering our situation.

I agree it's great to get the blocking out of our RB's....BUT we have two damn good backs here...Cold weather coming and keeping one fresh to spell each other off could really keep the opposition on their toes...Run the heck out of the ball, I say....Like I said B.C. is doing it with Allen and Jerimiah Johnson...Seems to be working...why not give it a shot...Of course all of this is contingent on Harris being healthy and ready to go.

Though I kinda like the Harris/Flanders combo...(seeB.C. and their alternating backs) I don't like that receiving corps line-up...Something about it doesn't impress the heck out of me ( although they are all fairly competent)...It just doesn't seem like that is a recipe for going very far in the play-offs (if we get there)and sure as hell isn't scaring the opposition...We needed to add a BIG playmaker at receiver and it just isn't there.

Maybe we can trade the arenogoods their no 1 pic back and Neufeld for Coombs and Gurley.....The way the argos are playing it looks like they will be in serious contention for the no 1 overall which would belong to us...Bite Barker bite...

Drew was way over-rated and way over paid....He is what I always thought a no 2 serviceable qb....He was carrying a huge weight on his shoulders here because the fans expected him to deliver what he wasn't capable of...A few good games then the real Willy stood up...I hope Milo in T.O. can make something of him.... I wish him well BUT I hope they don't expect another Ricky Ray cuz it just ain't there.

Hey what better time to pick up a leo cast-off....Maybe he'll bring their playbook with him....AND IF we reek the rest of the way, I wouldn't be too sure about Mike O's future here...Too many failing years will catch up no matter who you are...Then again maybe we'll extend him and give him a big raise similar to what Willie got.....Oh I'm such a cynic.lol

Do we have a policy not to go after players who have been up here and try the nfl?....Seems like it....Sinkfield would've been a nice addition but for reasons unknown he's playing for a division rival that could Sink us........ooooo did I really say that
