I have come around to Lapolice excited to see the changes he brings to offence.

We know what the changes will be. Build leads, decent rush stats, good play action calls, and ultra conservative in the fourth quarter with leads which is bound to cost us a couple games a season.

    Ok. We're 12 and 6 instead of 14 and 4

  2. On one hand, the man has failed here twice before which makes me less than excited. On the other hand the lack of experienced, capable offensive playcallers speaks for itself currently. We got the second best (I don't buy Cortez is retiring) person out there that has experience, but he's still a B level coordinator at my best in my opinion.

Apparently while doing his TSN gig he's attended 10 NFL camps held to improve and come up with new offensive Offensive plays. A guy who is willing to do that on his own dime and time is serious about improving his OC abilities. Time to forget about the old days guys. Give him a break.

  3. I think O'Shea will get a one year contract extension so as to not appear a lame-duck coach.  Same as Claude Noel after his second season with the Jets.

MOS needs to have an "associate HC" . (in case he's asked to depart during the season next year) The game has passed MB and Richie Hall by. I'm sick to death of the futility of the Bomber running game and watching opposition recievers having a 10 yard cushion on obvious passing plays. (Demond Washington needs to play somewhere else)

Walters sure is active after the rumors came out yesterday.  Wonder what this means, if anything...

Agree. The Guelph job is a job for life move. And free education for the kids?? Not much to contemplate.

IMO....I'm guessing we're looking for another GM.

Hope Walters stacks the Bombers before/if he leaves.

He had a couple of years to do that and it ain't done yet so what makes you think he will in the next few weeks?

You gotta admit he is better than the clown we had in here prior to Walters. Be patient. This a 30 year process. 3 more years to go

BOD Breaking News. Bellefuelle will bereleased from his OC job and become Bombers new GM.

  6. I think he is coming back here.

I'm thinking so. If he'd already stopped in Wpg and left,  the probability would have been we were just getting lip service. With Wpg possibly being his last stop and the contract already on the table with the terms and money not yet settled I'm betting he's signing in Wpg.

Why do the tour when you've got maybe 3 contracts on the table other than to bump up that final number.....which any one of us would do, and in the order he's doing it. AND yes, the possibility of a call from the #NFL is still in the back of his mind.

Kyle was just real relaxed when Lawless asked him about Muamba. He already knows the answer and is waiting for the numbers. The days of "Winnipeg the cheap" are over since Miller arrived.

PS......He signs with Walters in Montreal and flys back as a Bomber.

    Signed

He'll probably make the Bombers his last stop and he eventually signs here. :)

I'm hoping Walters said to him "Go get everyones offer then come talk to me"

Rumor has it that BB are willing to pay Muamba whatever it takes. It will be up to Muamba as to where he wants to play and how quickly he wants a GC AND last but not least how much it means to him to play with Cauchy.

Is Edmonton in on the bidding now too?

    No but........

  9. It was 1 game where our franchise QB got hurt. Relax. Last week we ended an 11 year drought winning in sask. This week we lost. It's been 2 games and we are 1-1

And if Willy is out 3 weeks and O'Stubborn sticks with Brohm do we still relax while going 1-4? Because I personally don't see Brohm winning one game this year either coming in off thebench or starting.

  10. So pissed in more ways than one, right now....

Along with ineffective play there is one other problem the Bombers have and you touched on it. O'Shea's stubborn streak is going to bring this club down this year if he continues his affair with Brohm. The most glaring mistake he's making is his loyalty to a QB who cannot, cannot throw a ball to a receiver without bouncing it to him. Whether ir's 10 yards or 40 yards the ball falls short. His long passes can be timed in 10 second intervals. His mobility is non existant.

How O'Shea sees a backup QB in Brohm is beyond me and just about anyone who cared to watch him. In my uneducated opinion having a mobile QB when the opposition is bring the house makes sense. I've only been watching Bomber football for 57 years so I have noticed a thing or two. If you have a QB who has cement feet he has to have a quick release. Brohm has cement feet and a slow release.

So O'Shea has to own part of last nite's debacle. I was willing to give Brohm and O'Shea the benefit of the doubt....but no more.

No wonder the team was deflated after Willy went down. NOBODY has any confidense in the #2 QB.

He was awful in every sense of the word, and has been every step of the way so far, save for half a game against Calgary last year.

So you're saying he played well when he had a week to prepare with the first unit offense? I agree. That's a sound argument for why he should start next week if Willy can't.
Yea then we get to watch Brohm throw it in the dirt for the whole game woo-hoo!

That's O'Shea's secret weapon with Broom. Receivers run down 20 yars and lay down on the field. Only problem is that broom can only throw it 18 yards.....or two yards short of any distance where the receivers lie down..

With Marve Hammy's D would have gotten a workout chasing him, if they could have caught him at all.

Ok. So after reading these posts I have two questions.

Some say a preseason is like watching practice. Well, I live 900 miles away from practice so even though practice may be boring to some I, me, I want to see as much of the Bombers as I can see.

Secondly, for the life of me I can't find who in hell has the broadcast rights to the CFL this year and the calendar with the game dates, times and who is broadcasting.

And finally yes I will be listening to Bob Irving on 'OB. I always sync the TV and Irving's play by play.

If someone could answer these questions I'd appreciate it. Thanks

    Here is the schedule

    http://cfl.ca/schedule/year/2015/time_zone/0

All non-preseason games will be televised on TSN.  Pre-season there are only a handful of games being televised.

Thanks for the response and the link. All is good now.
