  1. Eric Lofton started most of their games at LOT, he sat on the Bombers PR most of last season.
  2. Call it the "Holm effect" he's teaching the boys how to knock down the ball with the swish of a well timed hand, no harm, no foul, and no dirty laundry.
  3. You also have to account for scheme change over time, the game does not remain static and is ever evolving. In 2019 the Bombers did not use the 2-wide option on the O-line except for short yardage, but Hamilton did. Now they're using it quite generously for pass protection and running plays including adding Jackson on the end occasionally. They've also increased the blocking duties of their receivers more than any other team, on Brady's last TD run both Demski and Bailey were on the interior helping the O-line fortify a gap for him to run through. Don't think I've ever seen that before.
  4. Is BA injured? On that long Cottoy TD when he stiff armed Rose, looks like BA had the angle but was trotting 3/4 speed. https://twitter.com/i/status/1710491882222960749 On the Parker game saving tackle on Rhymes, BA clearly pulls up lame and is unable to pursue. https://twitter.com/3DownNation/status/1710612823947001980 Did he even play in OT?
  5. All it took was dazzling incompetence!
  6. Can't blame Yoshi for the sack where Zach spun back into Betts, he steered him 8 feet downfield of the target, at that point Zach is supposed to have evacuated the pocket or gotten rid of the ball. Yoshi did his job.
  7. Hard to perform when you're not handed the ball, will say the same for the next replacement they bring in.
  8. I'd shave $25k-$30k off your too generous offer. It's a business, kick the tires of a young Import RB willing to work for $85k.....say someone like Jordan Salima. Brady will be quick to grab the money sign the contract and thank his lucky stars before Walters further contemplates the savings an all-Import backfield could provide him.
  9. Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber, good and also short at 7 episodes. Made by Brian Koppelman the same guy that created Billions, so it's also mostly obsessed with money.
  10. Agreed, I kept picking the Stamps to win through the first half of the season assuming they still had good talent and the QB to win games, record shows that is no longer the case. I can't see them sticking with Maier next season, expect to see a number of QB's in TC pushing for his job.
  11. Probably not, scared of the Elks!
  12. I thought that was on a punt returner or receiver? If it was on Adams I would almost expect a penalty.
  13. You're right, first game Betts scalded Stanley.
  14. Adams can outrun Bighill but not Kyrie.
  15. Haven't been impressed with Dobson in pass protection, he's only 6'-2" but weighs 315 lbs. about the same size as Kolankowski, maybe better suited to Center if he learns to snap the ball. Kind of reminds me of Dominic Picard, another short stubby who also played Center.
  16. Just wondering if Betts picked on Neufeld in the earlier matches or if he really is injured, sounds like he'll dress anyway.
  17. Maybe not this year, but in the off-season they will need to make plenty of adjustments. Should be interesting.
  18. I thought they decided to convert Cole Adamson to O-line and sent him back to school? Also sent DT Collin Kornelson and DB Bret MacDougall from last year's draft back to school.
  19. Not sure this is the game to test the waters but it would be good to give both Eli and Dobson a few more test runs before the end of the season, and it doesn't hurt to give Neufeld a game or two off.
  20. Ball park $80k vehicle written off with no insurance, that's on Kenny, not the team.
  21. Have to see if Brady is first nominated for MOP on his own team, I think probably not.
  22. Boudreau Someone needs to give Paul Boudreau a sign he can hold up on the sidelines, "Don't even think about it Buck!"
  23. Some of the TC cuts made my eyes water, they kicked a lot of great talent straight out the door. I think the problem is they look at making as little change as possible based on previous success, when they should always have the attitude that they're coming off a bad season and need to get better in every way that they can. It's the very definition of resting on their laurels, which never works very well in the wide world of sports.
  24. If that's the case there should be a ton of players dumped on the open market by other teams shortly. As for Deng, maybe it was a short looksee and he'll be invited back to camp next season.
  25. No picks since he whiffed on that long one a couple of weeks ago, I imagine someone set him straight and he's reluctant to gamble now.
