It's a 4th rounder, going up to a 2nd rounder depending on playing time this season. I said 4th rounder because I don't see Brohm playing enough to change that.

In my opinion the depth chart is settled at 1 and 2 with Willy and Hall. It's now between Brohm and Marve for 3rd. I can see solid cases to be made for both Marve and Brohm to be number 3 so that'll be very interesting. Either way, I see the Bombers finding a way to keep all 4 QBs.

There are just soooooo many jokes you can make with the last name Willy. I can see this getting out of hand! I was telling my GF at the game last night that the Bombers offensive line should start marketing condoms, just like Buck Pierce's chips. Their slogan could be "We protect the Bombers Willy...let us protect yours too".

O'Shea is on the record as saying Willy needs reps as he isn't an established CFL starting QB. I would expect Willy to get at least a quarter on Saturday. Of the 4 QBs on our roster, 3 are here based on McManus's advice. Based on last nights performance, he's 2 for 3 as Brohm did not look good. I'm a little uncomfortable we gave up a 4th round pick for Brohm, but maybe he will show us more on Saturday. The 4th rounder is the only reason I think Walters might keep Brohm...maybe they'll stash him on the 9 game IR or something. Willy looked like the next Ricky Ray with better mobility. Marve could be the next star QB, but will need some development. He at least deserves more playing time on Saturday. Bombers could have some real nice depth at QB in a year or two.

O'Shea is high on Louie Richardson, who could rotate in and backup for Jake Thomas; also plays ST's. He's 6'4" but only 220 lbs, which is quite undersized for a DL.

That makes sense but does that mean he's the 6th OL to start the season or at starting rg? That's a good question. I've only seen him take reps at centre so far so ya, he could be the 6th OL or my guess is they say he has a made up injury to give him some extra time to develop. The 2 preseason games will mean a lot for Goossen to determine whether he's ready now.

The players are just blowing off steam. 100% it'll get ratified. Flory might be out of a job though as PA President.

Bombers are really impressed with Goossen but they're going to give him a bit of time to develop and get comfortable.

I went to practice today and it was pretty boring. I did notice that Korey Banks is playing some special teams. I didn't know he played ST's and thought that was cool. Drew Willy got a haircut. Johnny Sears was chatting up Kim Babij for quite a while.

I had big plans for Bailamos after his TDs!!

It's been a long offseason. We get hot and bothered by pretty much anything Bombers related.
