  1. I assumed you were based on your posts.
  2. Ok it's misleading or whatever you want to call it. It's a fake discount. Seems like your paid by the Bombers so don't expect you to agree with me on this.
  3. If he has legit shot at the NFL, likely in the 3rd round.
  4. My point is the $100 "discount" is an obvious scam. Wade artificially increased the price by $100 and is then calling it a "discount".
  5. My point is the $100 discount for a 3 year commitment is a scam. Wade just artificially added $100 to what the price should be and is calling it a "discount".
  6. Highest price for a Grey Cup ticket in BC this year is $360. The $499 is a joke.
  7. Well that would be great news then!
  8. ….O'Shea liked the work of his co-ordinators this season, Marcel Bellefeuille on offence and Gary Etcheverry on defence. "They've worked extremely hard," O'Shea said. "They've put their players in positions to be successful. Um, yeah. They've done a pretty good job." He wouldn't go so far as to say both would be back in 2015, however. It's believed both have a year remaining on two-year contracts. - http://www.winnipegsun.com/2014/11/02/time-for-bombers-to-clean-house Thanks. That sucks.
  9. So I got my renewal from the Bombers today. The P2 to P1 grandfathering pricing is accurate. Except on the phone I was told my Grey Cup ticket was $399 minus $100 discount if I commit to season tickets for 3 more years. Reality is my Grey Cup tickets are $499 minus $100 discount. This is a scam in my opinion. The $100 discount is a joke. As I suspected might happen, Mr Miller artificially inflated the Grey Cup ticket prices and this $100 "discount" is a sham. I'm disappointed and will be calling the Bomber office to voice my displeasure. If this stands, I'll likely have to give up my seats for the Grey Cup and buy tickets in a lower price point.
  10. MOS does put too much emphasis in certain areas over others. He is thrilled with Bryant's work ethics and remarks how he puts in extra time, and passes on this information to the younger receivers. A mentor. His belief that Bryant 'opens' the field for everybody is not backed up by performance on the field. Loyalty to the nth. Hopefully in talks with the coaches and Walters, things will be put in better perspective going forward. Sounds like Romby should be an assistant WR coach, not an actual WR.
  11. JFG is no worse than Romby.
  12. If these 2 year deals talk is true, best case scenario is one coordinator is gone in my opinion.
  13. Where did you hear they signed 2 year contracts? Most coordinator contracts are one year. Are the contracts guaranteed if they're fired?
  14. The D coaches would not necessarily have to go...perhaps there is one who could take Etch's place with a different scheme. Is there an assistant who stands out who could be coordinator material?
  15. Exactly. O'Shea said they were discussing the idea. Didn't sound like anything close to a for sure thing.
  16. Could also be preparing in case Bucknor decides not to re-sign.
  17. Bomber rep told me that a significant number of seats in the north end zone are sold, but that those are the people who mostly hang out in the concessions and drink/socialize. That's why it always looks so empty; the seats are sold but the ticket holders are drinking/socializing.
  18. Last two games of the season we did.
  19. Get rid of Etch asap. Hold onto Bellefeuille for now, but see if anyone better becomes available and then turf him.
  20. We need to open up the bank for Wild. I believe he was the heart & soul of our defence all year, and we were noticeably different when he wasn't there. Never mind he was also our long-snapper......which we also need to deal with for next year. My thoughts exactly. Wild needs to be paid as an elite CFL defender. Also need to address the long-snapper situation with a competent backup.
  21. Alexander is still here too.I know, he was put to the suspended list last week. I'm not really sure about him though, i'm not sure if he is just battle lot of injuries this year or his game have regressed and got push down on the depth chart by derek jones. He isn't listed as suspended anymore. As for injuries or Jones keeping him off the field, I would guess both. Some of the times he was on the IR wasn't for injuries.this from cfl. transaction pageOctober 31 Roster ... WPG TRF TO SUSPENDED NIP Donovan ALEXANDER (DB) North Dakota Btw, here's the latest transaction for the Bombers November 2 NON-ACTIVE 2-Nov-14 WPG REM UNS IMP Daivon DUMAS (DB) Northern Arizona WPG REM UNS IMP Jarvis JONES (OL) Oklahoma WPG REM UNS IMP Abraham KROMAH (LB) Duke WPG REM UNS IMP Marty MARKETT (DB) South Carolina WPG REM UNS NIP Ezra MILLINGTON (WR) Ottawa WPG REM UNS NIP Kyle NORRIS (LB) Saint Mary's WPG REM UNS NIP Shea PIERRE (DB) Windsor WPG REM UNS NIP Rene STEPHAN (LB) Harding WPG REM UNS IMP Aaron WOODS (WR) Portland State He was listed on the roster, not the suspended list, when I looked. And the roster list is up to date? The transaction is updated almost daily. Bombers have done a poor job of keeping the roster up to date on their website the second half of the season.
  22. On the coaches show tonight, O'Shea said the coaching staff/Walters have discussed starting 3 Canadian receivers next season; Watson, Kolhert and JFG. That would see Carter as a backup and possibly Demski as well??? The Demski part is just speculation on my part.
  23. Brohm is in fact a 4th rounder based on his starts this season. He needed to start at least 6 games to make it a 3rd rounder.
  24. Correct. It would apply to new season ticket buyers too.
  25. I'd have zero problem giving Bucknor starter money in the $120-130k per season range.
