DD is not a dumb football man and as former good/great CFL QB that he was, the situation with their QB talent is weird considering. Maybe this was an outcome of him taking on way too much responsibility.

Yea like what market are they pandering to? If its the 9-12 year olds, they are greatly succeeding. Now that I think about it maybe this is their master plan, they're trying to attract Gen Z and Gen Alpha's in becoming CFL fans. Brilliant.

I also remember Milt saying a few things on the broadcast, like showing up at someone's house he remarked, and Kate telling Milt he can't say that and him saying he can and the deathstare that Kate gave him afterwards. Anyways, they all, and I mean all involved in its production, share varying levels of blame of why this broadcast scores high on cringy crap.

I greatly deteste the Riders but Milligan seems to be the real stuff. Also appreciated learning he’s actually pretty quiet and lets his playing talk for him. Thinking the Riders could benefit in having that a bit more.

Fair. That’s the beauty of life, most everything in life is subjective. For me I’m not caring about her looks and I’m not looking for nor expecting detailed football analysis from her. I’m looking for authentic non contrived genuine humorous hosting that she, in my opinion, is achieving the opposite that the other panel members feed off which is a whole other debate in what football people we need on these broadcasts. As for your bewilderment about people liking Laura, it’s quite simple, as Kate is the main host she is the bar we compare other hosts to. Laura can get better like anyone in any profession can but you say stale I say calm focussed authentic with minimal over the top nine year old humour.
