  1. Good call Bear…… Never thought I’d say this about a 17 minute old post, but this did not age well.
  2. Ref was standing one foot away. Think he had a good enough view.
  3. Fajardo still telegraphing his QB sneaks. Learned nothing from the Bomber West Final goal line stand.
  4. And a brutal kick. That does it! Cut Ali and Liegghio!
  5. Lucky Whitehead, Michael Reilly, the Orange shirt promotion, the defensive battle, even heard a mention or two for Schaffer-Baker.
  6. You want to blame someone, blame O’Shea for benching him late in the year, or Walters for not re-signing him.
  7. No, they are talking about a number of things. All you hear is them talking about Fajardo. 🙂
  8. I would not even say that really. The consistency in their logic is “I don’t need anyone else (specifically the government) to protect me, I will protect myself”. Be it with a gun, or my belief that the vaccine is dangerous, I will not be beholden to anyone else’s orders about my life (except abortion, of course).
  9. Here is the video. Not as overtly funny as “Cowbell” or “D I C K in a box”, but maybe one of the funniest subversive SNL sketches ever. Like most Ferrell stuff, you may find it not so funny or even stupid at first, but it creeps into your brain, and on repeated viewings gets better and better (like Anchorman was for me).
  10. Your daily dose of COVIDiocy. What kills me is the whole underlying argument is “keep the government out of my life” yet they are completely oblivious to what the government does for them. And like when Trump had his shutdown and no garbage got picked up or mail delivered for a month, suddenly everyone begged for the government to come back and keep the running of their lives in order.
  11. Make-up application.
  12. “Trust me. I’m a doctor”
  13. “I’ll smack you in the mouth, I’m Neil Diamond!”
  14. I knew you were going to say that. 😏
  15. “NO, I WILL LEAVE YOU IN!”
  16. Not that I believe Desjardins, but it was the club who wanted the two years and the player one according to him, so the early termination ability would not apply here. Players cannot walk away from contracts, only the team.
  17. Many would argue that “rural” is the right and “suburban” is the left. They would also argue the West is the far right.
  18. Major geek points/street cred to whomever can remember the audible that triggered the kicking motion. HINT: It’s not “Omaha” but is 4 letters long and starts with “O”.
  19. Again making the request so neither TBurg or 17 need to worry about the other getting the last word.
  20. And for what it’s worth here is Desjardin’s side of the story according to Marshall Ferguson. Apparently per the story when they re-negotiated, Ottawa wanted a two-year deal and Arbuckle would only agree to one. When Nichols was released by Toronto so they could avoid his bonus owing, Ottawa saw a chance to bring in a more veteran QB who had a successful relationship with the coach. So they signed Nichols instead. I’m sure people will make up their own minds as to who to believe.
  21. Just a reminder that LaPo did win his first ever HC game, and rather than go oh-fer the rest of the way, he did win a few more games and got to the Grey Cup. But if we limit it to Ottawa, I have a hunch they will sneak a win in somewhere this year. Their defence is still playing strong, they get Edmonton again, and Montreal and Hamilton have their moments looking weak. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. And they have a new hotshot QB signed according to the broadcast last night.
  22. Davis pulled his hamstring trying to run down the pick six. When Nichols went down (broken wrist?) he was injured, not benched. Not that it would have made a difference.
