I will give you that. Had the Lions landed Lawler they would have easily been tops. Was hedging my bets when I originally said “maybe the best quartet” in Sask. Will be interesting to see how the “load up on receivers”approach works compared to the “build from the lines out” approach of the Bombers, which has proven more successful so far.

I’ve been repeatedly assured that this is not Riderfans, so I am confident that this logical opinion will not be dismissed off hand. But I welcome contrary opinions with equally logical foundations.

Would disagree with that assessment. Duke Williams, a healthy Shaq Evans, Kyran Moore, and Kian Schaefer-Baker are a very solid top 4. Maybe the best quartet of any team in the league.

Since we are on the topic of jerseys and errata, does anyone have inside info on when the new Grey Cup rings are being unveiled. And is it time we got an individual banner for each championship instead of lumping all the wins under one banner? Just a small pet peeve.

Me as well. Most of my purchases from Uptown are Team Canada hockey jerseys and other stuff (glassware, mini helmets) not sold in the Bomber Store. I agree money back to the club is important, but these guys deserve a shout out too.

I have bought many items from them. Great people, extremely helpful, and their jersey customization is cheaper than other places and all quality pro-stitch accurate to the era. Love that store!

Montreal has 8 wins this year, on pace for 14/15. They won 13 playoff games last year. As far as I can tell, no team has ever won less regular season games than their previous year’s playoff total. This needs to happen!

Not sure what the team disqualification would do to each individual performer in their individual events coming up. Just a reminder that Russia is already “banned” due to a massive statewide doping scandal from Sochi. No dignitaries, no standing under he national flag, no anthem, and yet all the athletes still get to compete. And now they may have cheated again. Just another example of what a joke the IOC is. Kick them all out for another 10 years.
