  1. I think you would remember an all Western Division or all Eastern Division Grey Cup. Some days I can't remember where I put my socks. But I'll bet you get to meet new people every day and hide your own Easter eggs.
  2. Presumably, Grigsby has these mistakes brought to his attention after each game, but he doesn't seem to get it. How do you coach a player to jump on a fumble instead of gaping at it?
  3. Take two viewings of 2013 and post again in the morning
  4. As great as it is to see the Bombers bounce back from a butt-kicking and not only play hard but win, we are still going to have a lot of ups and downs this year, and we've had a lot of ups so far. This edition is showing every sign of being resilient, and even if we don't make the playoffs, at least we can actually like and be proud of this team. Still lots of room for improvement, though- we need a receiver that scares the poop out of the opposition, a running back who can break tackles and block and an upgrade to the O-line. Then we can start talking Grey Cup.
  5. O'Shea talks to you? Who are you his wife? Funny. I asked him on the CJOB show. How did they manage to squeeze you in between commercials????
  6. It's the coaching system and culture of the team.
  7. The game was sad, just sad. The backups should have been platooned in no later than the start of the fourth period, The CFL has had its share of stinkers just in time for ESPN exposure.
  8. Yer granny coulda made most of those yards.
  9. LeFevour 's style reminds me a lot of Reilly in Edmonton.
  10. Lets not loose any sleep over LeFevour just yet- he's up against a very suspect Ottawa defence.
  11. LeFevour has a very good arm and looks not bad at all considering his inexperience in the CFL.
  12. It would depend on who loves ewe.
  13. Could we use Cotton only for the shorts yardage game? Or Tee formations?
  14. What, such a comely sheep isn't erotic enough for you?
  15. Grigsby did nothing to help the team or his cause last night. You could excuse his lack of production running on a sub-par O-line, but his blocking (or lack thereof) is going to cost us quarterback sooner or later, and I hated how he just stood there and watched the ball roll around at his feet when it came loose. That was all on him and maybe he's just too dumb to play in this league.
  16. Maybe the issue is not whether we win or not, but how much heart the team shows throughout the game. For a good chunk of the last game, I was getting flashbacks to 2012/2013. The game is winnable, but the overall offensive effort has to be way better than last game, and maybe Nic Moore has to show why there was so much hype when he was signed by the Bombers.
  17. No. Obviously, her center of gravity is too high (top-heavy).
  18. You haven't been paying attention, have you. Here's the video of the announcement of the naming of the Bob Irving Media Centre in May, 2013: It still is. Thanks, I've never seen that before. Recognized Doug Brown, Tim Burke, Butchko, Brock Bulbuck...any other big names in that video? Exactly what did they recognize Burke as? One of the worst head coaches in Bomber history? He's already been outed. Same for Butcho.
  19. Gotta come down to taking Glenn's short-medium passing and limiting Harris's running. Grigsby has to have a good night for us.
  20. Fixed that for you,
  21. The chances of trading a starting import for a starting NI are pretty much zero unless it is late in the season and a team needs a decent tackle to solidify a run for the cup. Moreover, I like January's leadership anf if drop another right tackle into Willy's blind side protection, he's going to be pretty much road-kill. But Lawlwss has to fill the page, even if its drivel, and he did get people talking, didn't he? Maybe some of them bought a Free Press.
  22. For me, I loved listening to Cactus Jack on the post-game OB show and his "happy honker" award, and Jack Matheson on the OB noon hour sports report. Matheson had a mixture of insight and humour that is all too rare these days.
  23. As Toronto is also showing, unless you are maybe the Stamps, there is a very short limit as to how many injuries you can absorb and still compete. Bombers are still in a catch-up mode and will probably be for another year, perhaps two.
  24. Carter is still a maybe and we don't know what his ceiling is, but, alas, both we and the Roughies know what Etienne's ceiling is- sort of similar to that of a crawl space.
  25. There is no reasonable argument that I can think of as to why we would be behind Saskatchewan. Explain. Looking at Sask's depth compared to ours and overall talent gives them the edge over the Bombers, IMO. This is why the upcoming game against the Lions has to be critical- it will confirm either the worst of the last game or show that to be a collective brain cramp. If Sask comes up snake-eyes again, then I would concede that they are worse.
