This is stomach-turningly reminiscent of last game,

CRAP!!! Collaros was pressured and threw it up.

Gotta get a lead and soon or the Ilks will start thinking they are the RedBlacks.

Our defensive backfield may get a real workout. The Ilks are the third-highest passing team in the league. Of course, if our d-line can pressure Corny, that will make a big difference, and Edmonton's o-line is definitely suspect.

His arrogance and stupidity have finally caught up with him. He is the subject of 6 different criminal investigations and further indictments are inevitable. He is desperately trying to avoid prosecution by saying that a) no sitting president has ever been charged with a criminal offence (not true) and b) that he should not be charged because he is running for office and going to trial would interfere with an election.

We can agree that O'Shea is a good coach, but he is far from perfect and has his biases and blind spots. Every coach, player and GM have limited shelf lives and I an starting to wonder if O'Shea is approaching the Dave Ritchie zone in falling in love with certain (usually veteran) players. I too am baffled by why we do not have DLs on our practice roster and am not sure who is responsible for that. Bringing in Lemon for a look-see is a very low-risk move. To flail at a deceased equine, having Lawler back is nice, but if our O-line doesn't up their game substantially, Collaros will not have enough time to execute and (shudder) could easily get racked up. I have heard nothing as to why Eli and Dobson are not in there. Last game, it was painful to watch Neufeld get beaten repeatedly, maybe it was Kolankowski who was out of sync or out of his depth. I am not a coach or former player, but if we can see these obvious problems, why in the name of Bud Grant is the coaching staff so apparently oblivious? I have some real concerns about tonight's game. The Ungulates are a pathetic bunch but even a blind squirrel will find the occasional acorn. Should the Bombers lose tonight, it will be a game that will live in infamy (to borrow a phrase).

Not good enough. I cannot imagine how outraged fans in this forum and elsewhere will be if the Bombers actually lose to that sorry lot. Bombers are too close to having fans see them as having nosedived from being the best team in the league by a long shot to an also-ran. They need to dominate the line of scrimmage and Ceresna will give the Bomber O-line all they can handle.

Oliveira fumbled because of a rookie mistake- he did not cover the nose of the ball when he was carrying and it got punched out of his arm. No doubt he got a tongue-lashing because that should never have happened.

I did not like Buck's playcalling for most of the second half, but if Collaros keeps getting sacked, not only will we lose the next game but also his services for the rest of the season. If Walters hasn't called O'Shea in on the carpet or O'Shea hasn't blistered Pierce and Hall, we are going to have repeat performances.

The truth is that even if Collaros starts really screwing up, we have no idea if our backups can carry the team. There is good evidence that Prukop sure as spit cannot. So, if Collaros can't get us there, we ain't going anywhere. Period

This sort of thing is what is slowly poisoning the USA. Worse yet, there seems to be no will to change for the better.

This game showcased so many of the problems that cost us the Grey Cup last year: the O-line was mauled and there was no shuffling of linemen to spell off Kolankowski and Neufeld, the coaches did not make halftime adjustments or in the fourth quarter when the same plays were hurting the Bombers again and again. I listened to O'Shea and Collaros on OB's post game show and was treated to a series of cliches and no real sense of embarrassment by either. I am beginning to lose faith in Hall and Pierce who cannot come up with midgame adjustments. O'Shea's use of his roster is bizarre and needs to be questioned.
