The name for the tour "Inspiration" is ironic as inspiration means "inhaling" which is difficult for CORVID19 sufferers. -
If they do, that would allow Trump to continue as he has been by default. Under Canadian law, and I am not sure if it applies in the Excited States, if an action is legally questionable but allowed to continue unchallenged, it becomes precedent and is referred as a convention. Kicking the question down the road would be the worst of all possible outcomes- it would justify Trump's actions but leave the door open for a Democratic president to be prosecuted.

Any competent lawyer with even minimal self-self-respect would not embarrass him/herself with arguing an absurd proposition, but Sekulow is probably being well-paid which will ease his humiliation.

Trump baselessly accused Joe Scarborough of murder after the MSNBC host called him a “little baby” “When will they open a Cold Case on the Psycho Joe Scarborough matter in Florida?” Trump tweets TRAVIS GETTYS MAY 12, 2020 4:06PM (UTC) This article originally appeared on Raw Story President Donald Trump accused MSNBC's Joe Scarborough of murder — and urged authorities to open a cold case investigation — after the "Morning Joe" host called him a "little baby" about 20 minutes earlier. Indiana Pol Under Fire for Racist Meme Says He’s Not a Racist. Bryan Woolston/Reuters In August, Indiana state lawmaker Jim Lucas was accused of racism after illustrating a post about a black rapist with a photo of a hangman’s gallows. It doesn’t look like he learned anything from that episode. The Indianapolis Star reports that Lucas, a Republican, is under fire again—this time for posting a picture of black kids dancing under the phrase “We gon’ get free money.” Lucas says that just happens to be the picture that popped up in his meme generator when he was creating a post against federal bailouts. “I don’t see anything wrong with it,” he said. “People who want to find racism are going to find racism in anything.” The Indiana Republican Party declined to weigh in, telling the Star: “If you’ve observed Rep. Lucas long enough, you know that his views are entirely his own.”

It within the realm of possibility that Trump would start a war in order to boost his popularity as Margaret Thatcher did over the Falkland Islands. It worked for her, as it did for Reagan when he ordered the invasion of Grenada to oust the few dozen engineers from Cuba who were working to update Grenada's infrastructure. Everyone forgot the Lebanon disaster. Thus he is a danger to other nations as well.

You are assuming that they are open to changing their minds, and the great majority are not- I have several of these in my extended family. when they forward tripe to me from say, The Rebel News website and I bother to send them links to credible sources that refute their beliefs, they just become annoyed, restate their beliefs and then say something along the lines of ,"well, that's your opinion". A total waste of time.

I've become so bored with staying home, I've begun drinking brake fluid. But I can stop any time I want to.
-
The implication is that if the SCOTUS agrees that Trump is above the law, they can immediately take off their robes and go home forever, as it would mean that he is the ultimate authority and can overrule them as he pleases. Thus they are redundant and no longer needed.

Still scary that they are even debating this. Insane.

Disagree. There are fundamental differences between left and right-wing adherents. When left-wingers are confronted with evidence that their faith in their beliefs or leaders is misplaced, they will either go silent or change their opinions- usually the latter. When the same happens to right-wing people, they will typically assume it to be a personal attack and either become more rigid or extreme in their beliefs. Typically, they have rigid ideation and closed to new ideas, even if it means that they will suffer for it. They assume that this suffering makes them more worthy and direct resentment and anger at whoever or whatever challenges their belief system.
-
Levant and Shapiro make a very good living out of milking the gullibility of their right-wing followers who treat every utterance of theirs as gospel. Its a lot like the Sun newspapers- in the west they wail about any perceived favours given to Quebec while in Quebec, the Sun complains about western Canada's influence in Ottawa. There are seemingly a lot of people who need to have their identities as victims confirmed endlessly and are willing to pay for it.

The theology of Ammon Bundy: A historian explains how the ‘White Horse Prophecy’ fuels anti-lockdown protestors Written by History News Network May 12, 2020 We are all now stuck within the procession of pandemic, left to view its spectacle through a kaleidoscope of cultural, philosophical, religious and biological understandings. Most Americans have responded to the spread of COVID-19 like much of the rest of the world—with unease, grief, fear, compliance and endurance. We’ve isolated and we’ve hunkered. But not all of us. What makes the US singular in the world are the rebellions springing up to protest stay-at-home orders put into place to protect us from the unspooling spread of disease. Agitators against such orders range from Ammon Bundy and his supporters in Idaho and Utah to various armed militia groups, like the Proud Boys in Michigan. Many protestors believe restrictions are noxious violations of liberty that keep us from barbershops, bars, diners and our jobs. Others believe that the disease is a ploy with an ultimate goal to steal away rights. And then there are some inclined to believe in religious prophecy amidst pestilence; as in God setting the stage for big, transformative action—think the Book of Revelation. Bundy believes all of this. https://www.alternet.org/2020/05/the-theology-of-ammon-bundy-historian-explains-how-the-white-horse-prophecy-fuels-anti-lockdown-protestors/

Trump demands “these votes must not count” after California opens poll site in heavily black area Trump claims Lancaster is the "most Democrat area" in the state. Its GOP mayor called for the new voting location MAY 11, 2020 9:23PM (UTC) President Donald Trump demanded that votes from a new voting location in a Los Angeles suburb with a large black population "must not count" as he lashed out at California for its attempts to make it easier Americans to vote. Trump over the weekend inserted himself into the special election in California's 25th Congressional District, which was vacated by former Rep. Katie Hill, D-Calif., who resigned last fall. The president complained on Twitter that California Gov. Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, opened up a new poll site in Lancaster, which lies just north of Los Angeles, despite calls from both parties to do so. https://www.salon.com/2020/05/11/trump-demands-these-votes-must-not-count-after-california-opens-poll-site-in-heavily-black-area/

Well, he does portray a cop, so missing a shooting would be a no-no.

Selleck has been stricken with a severe case of osteoarthritis and has very limited mobility as a result. If he is given a two year guaranteed contract, he's got financial security.

Trump has always seen women as either decorations or receptacles. He doesn't know how to deal with intelligent, critical women. Or men for that matter.

REALITY BITES: Trump Sabotages His Own Coronavirus ‘Mission Accomplished’ Moment The president had a banner proclaiming “AMERICA leads the world in testing” and a message of strength to deliver. Kevin Lamarque/Reuters It had all the trappings of a “Mission Accomplished” moment: the banner, the presidential pomp, and a message that wasn’t true. But what President Donald Trump wanted Monday to be a show of strength over his administration’s coronavirus testing push, complete with a banner touting “AMERICA leads the world in testing,” ended under tough questioning by reporters, causing the president to storm off abruptly. https://www.thedailybeast.com/trump-sabotages-his-own-coronavirus-mission-accomplished-moment?ref=home

Trump Refuses to Explain ‘Obamagate’: ‘You Know What the Crime Is!’ Justin Baragona Published May. 11, 2020 5:42PM ET Confronted on his Mother’s Day tweets in which he accused former President Barack Obama of committing the “biggest political crime in American history,” President Donald Trump refused to explain what the actual crime was. “Obamagate,” Trump exclaimed Monday afternoon when asked by Washington Post reporter Philip Rucker to provide an explanation. “It’s been going on for a long time!” After Trump offered no specifics, Rucker again asked him what is the exact crime he is accusing his predecessor of. “You know what the crime is. The crime is very obvious to everybody, all you have to do is read the newspapers, except yours.” https://www.thedailybeast.com/trump-refuses-to-explain-obamagate-tells-reporter-you-know-what-the-crime-is

Federal prosecutor who resigned in protest pens a blistering denunciation of Bill Barr’s DOJ Written by Alex Henderson May 11, 2020 When Attorney General Bill Barr intervened in the criminal case against long-time Trump ally Roger Stone in February, Jonathan Kravis was so appalled that he resigned from the U.S. Department of Justice — where he had spent a decade as a federal prosecutor. And now, Kravis is appalled by developments in another criminal case involving a Trump ally: former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn. On Thursday, May 7, the DOJ moved to drop the case against Flynn — who had pled guilty to lying to the FBI about his communications with former Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak in December 2016. Kravis explains why he finds this development so troubling in an op-ed for the Washington Post. https://www.alternet.org/2020/05/ex-roger-stone-prosecutor-slams-doj-for-flynn-dismissal/
