Another dumb penalty by the Tabbies.

He is probably trying to inject some excitement into a rather boring game.

Tabbies seem to have shaken off their initial jitters and are going to work now.

Agreed. If Davis had fallen on the receiver, they would have needed a spatula to remove him.

To me it looks like the Tabbies are over-eager and not playing with discipline.

Really conflicted about this game. Tradition says a Bomber-TiCat Grey Cup would be a classic but a Toronto win today might spur sales there.

And THAT is why we watch sports- the outcomes are sometimes unpredictable and the games can result in continuous butt-puckering.
-
It ought to be at least partially sheltered from the wind at field level. Not that this will affect the outcome, maybe only in the degree of butt-whupping.
-
CNN has shown credibility, and that ought to help them int he long term. One would think that Chris Cuomo should have been a lot more discrete in advising his brother, but in the end, it made no difference at all, and both wound up losing.

Well they will be able to watch their team get destroyed from the warmth and comfort of their sofas while they feel relief that they will not be the goats.

Omicron Triggers ‘Unprecedented’ COVID Surge Hitting Children Under Age 5 in South Africa The “highly transmissible” Omicron variant of coronavirus ripping through South Africa is putting disproportionately large numbers of children under 5 years old in hospitals, a top South African government medical adviser said Friday. The alarming development raises the prospect of a new global battle cycle against the virus, given that the new variant has already spread to dozens of countries. The South African scientists also said the new variant was spreading much quicker than any previous wave of the coronavirus. In a worrying virtual press conference, government adviser Waasila Jassat, speaking about the worst-affected area of Gauteng province (which includes the city of Johannesburg), said: “It’s clear in Gauteng, the week-on-week increase we’re seeing in cases and admissions is higher than we’ve seen it before. We’ve seen quite a sharp increase [in hospital admissions] across all age groups but particularly in the under 5s.” She added: “The incidence in those under 5 is now second highest, second only to those over 60. The trend that we’re seeing now, that is different to what we’ve seen before, is a particular increase in hospital admissions in children under 5 years. “We’ve always seen children not being very heavily affected by the COVID epidemic in the past, not having many admissions. In the third wave, we saw more admissions in young children under 5 and in teenagers, 15-19, and now, at the start of this fourth wave, we have seen quite a sharp increase across all age groups, but particularly in the under 5s.” ‘Unprecedented’ Omicron Surge in South Africa Is Hitting Children Under Age 5 (thedailybeast.com)

I fear that the US is nowhere near hitting bottom. Its going to get a lot worse before it gets better, and it may never get better.

Still no Gregorian chants group.

Should we call him "Saint Nic" or is that taken?

It was a good promotion idea that was not thought through.

Sadly, he is far from alone physically and in attitude.

Gonna get a 3-day head start on his vacay.

This area is the heartland of unquestioning PC support, so harsh restrictions are unlikely.
-
I do wonder how many more people are going to have to get sick or die before we clamp down again. It seems like the PC government believes that these are just collateral damages to their wish to keep their core voters happy. Mao Tse-Tung once said that 600,000 dead is not too high a price to pay for 10 years of peace. This feels like the same sort of thinking.
